"First and foremost, this property sat abandoned for over five (5) years! Dust, dirt, spider webs, etc.; WE had to clean PRIOR to our starting to Sand and Refinish the floors - AT NO COST! Of which, came out looking absolutely stellar! No, we are not Magicians, but we are damn good Flooring Men! Next, there are/were no radiators within this property. There are Heating Vents, but we do not understand where "radiators" came from; maybe just for good measure? We installed "White Primed Quarter Round" AFTER all of the Sanding, Staining and Polyurethane was applied. Therefore, we have no idea as to how any base molding/quarter round had stain on them. As for the "We are Not Painters" aspect of this Reviewer's statements: We installed "White-Primed" molding, as indicated in our Agreement/Contract, but the Reviewer stated that he wanted Irish American to "Paint" the molding! As was indicated in our conversation BEFORE entering into any Agreement/Contract, and in the Agreement/Contract itself - we install "White Primed". When asked, of course we stand by that "We are Not Painters!" A team of Four (4) men went back to the property, including the Owner, on November 6, 2021 and cleaned the site - for the 2nd time. The Reviewer did not attend this site visit: his friend opened the house for us. We then received a call from the Reviewer, whereby he stated: "You never even cleaned the windows"!!! At that point the conversation was ended and Irish American received the remaining Balance in the mail a week later. In closing, the floors that were refinished by Irish American are OUTSTANDINGLY BEAUTIFUL!"

"Very surprised to read this Review, and Reviews are VERY IMPORTANT in business and relationships. To clarify: We received this Lead from Angi on September 2, 2021. We scheduled an Estimate for the very next day, September 3, 2021, unfortunately, the Reviewer could not attend, but a family member was in attendance. We issued our Written and Dated FREE Estimate, pertaining to the Sanding, Refinishing and Staining Living Room, Hallway, one flight of stairs, and three (3) Bedrooms, on September 3, 2021. We were called back to the residence on September 11, 2021, as we were requested to issue ANOTHER FREE Estimate for installing new hardwood in the Kitchen. The Written and Dated FREE Estimate was issued that day. The Reviewer decided that she wanted Irish Americans to perform all of the described work on September 12, 2021. So, that day (September 12, 2021) we returned to the residence and entered into an Agreement/Contract, written, signed and dated September 12, 2021. Work was scheduled to begin on September 20, 2021, but the sheetrock and other work that the Reviewer had going on in the residence was not completed until September 21, 2021. We finally started Sanding, Refinishing, Installation, etc. on September 22, 2021. Work was COMPLETED on September 24, 2021; one (1) day beyond our proposed completion date of September 23, 2021 - due to the initial delay of the Reviewer contractor (brother-in-law). Reviews are very important to any/every business, but we do not understand this review. And, since the Reviewer does not mention our work product, I will: The floors, old and the new installation look ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you for the opportunity to work in your home."

"Obviously, we cannot please everyone, all of the time. We place all of our agreements in writing, in a Contract. Items/Issues outside of the Contract are added time, labor, costs, etc. We could not absorb the additional costs added on by this review writer, and he refused to pay. I am sorry that it came to this stage, but with over 30 years in the business - sooner or later we meet an unsatisfied and untruthful writer."
