I hired J. Arthur and Son to do a bathroom model. Bryanâ s team finished the job in record time. I was amazed it was done within 5 days. It looks beautiful! Bryan was proactive, personable and had great customer service throughout the project.

One day a bright yellow flyer blew into my yard while I was outside with my dogs. I leaned over & picked it up to put it in the trash when I saw Ugly Bathrooms Wanted! It was my lucky day! I called Brian on a Thursday & here that Monday and within 3 weeks I had 2 beautiful new Bathrooms! Great communication and they show up when they say they willâ ¦ no messing around! Couldnâ t be happier!

Hired him for my small bathroom, which he said would be done in seven days, it took two weeks. The floor tiles were uneven, they screwed a screw from the bathroom straight through to my daughters room through her wall, and in less than a year I had to have it re-grouted they did not seal the toilet and put up the wrong shower fixtures and never bought the bathroom mirror also did not waterproof the floor under the shower so I would not have the same leaking problem I started with and would not come back when asked, I will never ever hire them again and will never tell anyone I know to hire them. Please do not waste your money with this company!

If you are the woman who drives for Septa, your house was disgusting to the point where I seriously considered not doing the work at all. ------ Again if this is who I think it is your bathroom turned out very nice. I did the install over a year ago and did not hear from you one time. If you needed service for anything at all you should have called me. The fact that you did not call me but decided to bash me online is inappropriate."

Brian and his team-brought my 50"s pink and black tiled bathroom into 2021. Coordination of plumber, tile guy and painters were unbelievable . Work was started faster than i thought possible and finished in a week. You will not be disappointed.

We hired J Arthur in October to finish a bathroom remodel (tile in shower/floor, painting, toilet and vanity install, baseboard and light). The Bryan responded quickly to our first call and provided a quote the same day as the visit. We got a good price and Bryan was proactive the entire process in getting everything ready. Work started and finished when Bryan said it would and we're very happy with all of the work that was done. The communication throughout the process was excellent and I would definitely recommend them.

J Arthur and Son is the best of the best! My fiance and I had met with two previous contractors to discuss remodeling our kitchen before meeting with Bryan. During our meeting with him, he was attentive to our needs and offered his professional advice when we were are sure of something. He listened to our ideas and helped us find the perfect match for our style as well as our price range. Bryan was quick to respond to our emails with any questions we had, which made us feel like our questions were important. When it came to getting the work done, the contractors were nice, respectful, and punctual, which is extremely important for our busy schedules. Bryan helped us to pick the perfect cabinets for our kitchen, and even color matched three different paints to get us to the specific paint color we wanted. Overall, outstanding quality work and customer service. Bryan is definitely going to be our go-to guy for any contracting work we might need in the future! We highly recommend his services for anyone looking for home remodeling.

I hired this company for a bathroom remodeling. Brian showed up and gave me a decent price for the job. That changed after Brian figured a higher price and what I thought wasnt necessary. I gave Brian $5000.00. cash. He hired a plumber and a carpenter. At some point I realized that the carpenter was confused. I ended up firing them.. Brian refused to pay the plumber and said that it was on me. He basically took money from me. I dont know about anyone else from the company. Brian was in over his head. Do not hire them for any job. Im extremely disappointed.

"Tom, There was no reason for you to have replaced us with the plumber to complete your project. We worked diligently every day and were asked to leave because we needed a smaller size shower pan. As we both know, the gentleman hired to perform the plumbing portion of the job told you to let us go so that he could complete ALL of the work at a cheaper price. Have never had that happen to me in 35 years in the remodeling industry."

Bryan and team were efficient and provided excellent customer service throughout the job. They finished in a short amount of time and worked diligently to stay on schedule. Some days they finished up pretty early and it was like they weren't even in the house. Getting a remodel during a pandemic can cause many a bit of anxiety, but most of the time it felt like they weren't even here and they were good about social distancing inside of our home. I would have given all 5s but there are a still few small details that need to be addressed (can't help it I'm picky). But overall the service, quality of the job and final product is beautiful. Not to mention, like the previous reviewer said Bryan is like family by the time he leaves!

Had my bath remodeled by J Arthur earlier this year. Our home was build in the 1930 s so we were concerned with what problems might come. Also, we only have 1 full bath so finishing the project in a reasonable time frame was very important to us. Happy to say that our bathroom was completed in time with no unforeseen circumstances. There was quite a bit of dust accumulated in the living room and it took the painter 4 days to finish, but overall, we were pleased with the work and the fact that most of the work was completed in 6 days.

Super sloppy job. Uneven bath tiles. Grout was a mess and needed several touch ups. Seal around toilet looked like wrinkled scotch tape. Pain splashed were everywhere. They didn?t cover up during demolition. So we had to hire cleaners to get up all the dust covering every inch of the house. Bryan pointed fingered and even blamed us for scheduling floor work on day 7 when they should have been done already as the reason it took 3 weeks to finish the job. He said ?your bathroom will look just as you imagine it to be when we are done? yet he never looked at the finished product and denied our request to come out and look so we could provide feedback. I guess maybe that was asking for too much. In retrospect, we should have also gone with a different company simply based on the crazy cost they charged us for our small bathroom. Also NO ONE wore a single mask. Please avoid a headache and go with someone else.

I know that you were not satisfied with certain aspects of the grouting, but I had my tile man go back to your home on several occasions to service/ repair those areas that you had an issue with. After the last service call in April, I never heard anything from you. More than willing to stop by and see what needs to be repaired."

I had my bathroom renovated by J Arthur & Son in January of this year. I was concerned that they wouldn t be able to deliver on the promise that all the work would be completed in one week as I only have one full bath. They did a wonderful job and the work was completed in time. The tile work looks amazing and his crew were very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend Brian and his company.

We had two bathrooms completely remodeled (old fiberglass tub and showers replaced with beautiful tiled ones) with the constraint that we had to always have one working. We also had a two week interval in which this had to be done. It required careful planning within a short time. They carefully outlined all the steps at the start and coordinated with us throughout. They checked with us at the start of each day, reviewing progress, and assuring they were delivering what we wanted. They encountered unexpected old plumbing challenges within the walls and immediately reassessed with us what unforeseen additional costs this entailed. They delivered as scheduled. It was a pleasure to work with them as a team.

They did a full bathroom renovation in our house in Center City Philadelphia in summer/fall 2019. It took longer than expected (what major project doesn't); however, the end result was worth it. The tile work in particular is fantastic. I would not hesitate to bring them back for another project. Bryan is great at communication and he sticks with the project to completion which is a rarity. I've had so many contractors get down to the last bit of work and disappear. Not Bryan. He kept in touch from day 1 to the final day and made sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. Highly recommended.

Four stars because nobodyâ s perfect. Bryan responded to my Home Advisor inquiry for replacing fiberglass bath & shower enclosures with tile. He came out the next day to inspect & discuss the work (Others tried to give estimates without seeing the space). I had an estimate 2 days later and the job finished in a month, initial contact to completion. Bryan explained how it would play out, leaving me a working bathroom at all times. I had both done back to back. I was pleased to find all debris cleaned at the end of each day. The subcontractors were pleasant and the tile contractor was great. I tried to stay out of the way but I did decided to change the design at the last minute which he had no problem with. He and his assistant worked 10 hours one day to make sure that the work was done on time. Bryan responded to each call and text. I would not hesitate to hire J Arthur again.

We needed to get our old bathroom totally remodeled - old 1940 s ceramic tile etc. We wanted our tub converted to a walk-in shower. I read the other reviews here and decided to meet with Brian and get an estimate. He did not try to sell me on the most expensive options. Brian understood what I wanted. I took a chance and did not get a second estimate. I hired Brian to do the job. I am so glad that I went with my gut feeling about him, and hired Brian s team!! The job from start to finish took 7 days, as he promised. His crew even worked on Saturday of Labor Day weekend and Labor Day itself to get the job done! His crew was highly skilled, professional and cleaned up at the end of the day. They were willing to go above and beyond to get the job done right. I felt comfortable leaving them alone in my house. Brian is on top of everything. He had super ideas! Communication was excellent either by text or phone. Calls and texts were answered promptly, even on the weekend. I could go on and on. I now have an absolutely beautiful bathroom!! My husband was skeptical about hiring Brian, our first estimate. By the end of the week, my husband was shouting the praises of Brian and the job he and his crew did! (My husband is very hard to impress.) I highly recommend J Arthur and Sons. I will definitely use them again!

I had my kitchen and bath remodeled in June by J. Arthur and Son. Great job by Brian and his crew. Very knowledgeable- The guys worked every day without interruption and I could not be happier. They were hard working and completed the work on time. I was going to use a ceramic tile floor but then decided to use a waterproof laminate instead. It was definitely the right choice. My bathroom now looks amazing! I had my tub removed and replaced with wall in shower. I absolutely love my seat in shower area. I would highly recommend this company and plan on using him for future jobs.

I hired J Arthur & Son in February to remodel my kitchen. Bryan and his crew did a great job. I thought that the project would take the better part of two weeks, as we were removing the wall between our dining room and our kitchen, but all of the work (including the installation of our hardwood floor) was completed in only seven days. The finish work, including the installation of our tile backsplash, looks amazing. I can recommend J Arthur & Son for any home renovation and will definitely be using them in the future! Very pleased.
