He was very nice, but had no clue how to hang a door. After 1.5 hours, I just said thank you and had him go. The door was not flush with the primary wall at all and both creaked and did not latch.

For the 2-3 minor mini-projects at my moms home in Bernal Heights, luckily permits are definitely not required. The third and final mini-project I plan to do is just to put the same granite countertop and some new modern handles on my downstairs vanity. So far, for minor non-permit matters at your home, Scott is great and charges reasonable prices. He is quick and efficient. I would hire him again, but only for minor repair matters that do not require dbi permits. He is definitely my *go-to,* guy for now. He is a good find in the SF bay area. I hired Scott to repair a broken deck railing section. He had good communication with me about arrival and what he was going to do to for the job. He was friendly and worked hard to complete the job. Work is solid and my tenants are happy.

Scott is a great guy and helped me fix my shower glass doors in both of my bathrooms. It was an issue of the doors not sliding properly, jamming up, and making a horrendous racket when you tried to slide them. Scott carefully looked at the doors and systematically broke down the problem could be. In the first instance, it turned out that the main sliding track the doors slide in was improperly installed at a 45 def angle by the previous owner, so Scott found the problem and skillfully fixed it. In the other bathroom, he found that one of the sliding doors had the wheels installed in offset positions, so he took the wheels off and installed both of them on the same position - fixed the problem right away. He also found that the sliding track was not sealed properly, so he caulked that up for me as well. He was super easy to work with, genuinely a nice guy,would hire him for my next project.

Charged me nearly double the going rate, claiming he was fast. (I think I may have gotten a special rate as a single woman.) Then spent far too many hours to accomplish too little. I found he had poor workmanship, was slow, over promised, and under-delivered. And he borrowed some of my tools and never returned them. Do not hire

Great working with Scott, very cool and does a very clean work. He also gives good suggestions on how to fix or what stuffs to get for home repairs. I am already hiring him again for my home repairs.
