Meetinghouse Movers, LLC

We were expecting three guys to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30. We got two guys at 10:00, no call ahead of time to let us know they would be late and down one man. I asked if there would be reduction in the hourly rate, and they bumped it down from $170 to $160. A very small adjustment! Then they took an hour-long lunch break and included it in their total number of hours. Basically, It felt like they were doing everything in their power to hit the highest number in the range quoted to us, even though we had modest a two-bedroom apartment with everything already in boxes, nowhere near a day's work. Nothing was broken and everyone was courteous; it could have been worse. But would I pick this company again? I'm not sure.

Meetinghouse Movers were awesome. I hired them to pack up my house and move to my new home about 90 miles away in another state. The pack up team showed care with all my belongings and kept me informed and involved as they did everything. Moving day was two days later and they packed the trucks and were on the road quickly. Unfortunately one of the trucks got a flat tire about 15 minutes from my new home and they were unable to get me all my stuff that day (otherwise they would have been done that day). They unpacked the other truck and then went to try to move things from one truck to another but the State Police wouldn't let them do this on the side of the road. The crew manager kept me informed and had the other truck to my home by 10 the next morning. The entire crew apologized at least 100 times for the flat - it was out of their control and not their fault. Before they finished the first day, they sat down and explained exactly what was going to happen the next day. Before they finished each day, they walked through the house with me asking if I was happy with the placement I had selected and moved anything that didn't look right to me. They are awesome movers and I can't say enough great things about them. After this white glove experience, I can't imagine ever using another packing and moving company.

They were literally perfect. They were on time, the communication was great, they are very polite, handled our furniture with care, they were fast and hard working. We felt very safe with them as well. Would definitely book again.
