Paul pays attention to the details and takes the time to do the job right. Paying attention to the details is very important to Paul. He covers surfaces to protect your home. He is careful not to splatter or drip paint onto other surfaces. He looks at his work with a critical eye so you are happy with the finished job.

I haven't reviewed that one because that was a disaster. The thing is I tried to get my money back through Angie's List, in the end Paul at Meistersinger actually did give me a paraded portion of my money back so I felt like in the end it was settled fairly so I don't really wanna like you know I don't want to generate the guy's reputation. He just wasn't very professional. I mean he was late the two days he was here, he ended up leaving early both days, he didn't call me to tell me he was gonna leave early on the second day, he just left me a note on my stairs. He didn't get a full room painted, he was very slow, he spilled paint, he cursed I mean he just didn't seem like a professional painter.

"What a biased, unreasonable review! I was not feeling well the first day and told her I had to leave. The second day I felt better, but I quickly descended again. She was out by that time and I could not reach her, so I left a note explaining that I would finish when I had recovered. I didn't spill paint or curse or simply leave the job undone. Her husband finished it that week! I suggest that she has no compassion or sense of fairness and I wouldn't work for her again. Thanks for your understanding, Mrs. [Member Name Removed]."

After booking on Angie's list I knew I was getting a professional..But I had a bunch of questions racing through my head.. 1. Can I trust him? 2. Can I leave him in the house alone? 3. Will he be creepy? 4. I need to co-habitat with him for 2 days.... Does he have a personality?? So, when I opened the door and met Paul.. All my worries went away.... Paul, was amazing!!!! He was professional Courteous Hard working Creative And he has a PERSONALITY!!! Paul is nice, he is funny, I have to admit my kids and I miss him:) In regards to his work????A Perfectionist!!! Gave me ideas on my Colors... The end result...was Beautiful!!! In conclusion, Angie(whoever u r). U truly have a super star!!!! Thank you Maria Velkos <br />

<p>THE JOB ENTAILED PATCHING AND PAINTING DINING ROOM AND KITCHEN CEILINGS WHICH I NEEDED ASAP FOR THE HOUSE TO GO UP FOR SALE. I SPOKE TO PAUL AND HE SAID HE WAS AVAILABLE RIGHT AWAY ON MON, TUES AND WED,11/10-12/15. I ARRANGED TO MEET HIM MON AM. HE LATER CALLED BACK AND EXPLAINED THAT THE WEATHER WAS GOING TO BE GOOD ON MON AND HE REALLY NEEDED TO WORK OUTSIDE AT ANOTHER JOB SO COULD HE COME WED, THURS AND FRI. SINCE IT WAS THE SAME WEEK I SAID OK. HE THEN CALLED AND SAID THAT HE COULD BE THERE ON TUES AM BUT HE HAD TO LEAVE FOR A DR APPT IN THE AFTERNOON. I MET PAUL AT 11:30 AM AND SHOWED HIM THE JOB. I ASKED IF HE WOULD HAVE ANY PROBLEM FINISHING IN 16 HRS SINCE THAT WAS THE DEAL AND HE SAID IF HE DIDN'T FINISH IN THAT TIME I COULD JUST PAY HIM DIRECTLY. I ASKED IF THE TEMP IN THE HOUSE WAS OK BECAUSE THE THERMOSTAT COULD BE TURNED UP AND HE SAID IT WAS FINE. HE STARTED WORKING IN THE DINING ROOM. I WALKED INTO THE KITCHEN AND NOTICED A PAN ON THE FLOOR WITH WATER IN IT. I SAID OUT LOUD "SURELY THE ROOF ISN'T LEAKING IT WAS JUST FIXED. I'LL JUST HAVE THE ROOFER STOP BY TO MAKE SURE." AT 12:30 PAUL LEFT. I HAD MENTIONED THAT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO LEAVE THE DOOR UNLOCKED SO THAT HE COULD START THURS AT HIS CONVENIENCE AND HE CALLED THAT AM TO SEE IF I HAD. I TOLD HIM IT WAS UNLOCKED. THE ROOFER CALLED TO SAY THAT HE WAS GOING OVER TO CHECK THE HOUSE THEN. HE CALLED BACK AND ASKED IF I KNEW THE GUY WORKING THERE BECAUSE WHEN HE WALKED IN PAUL WAS SITTING ON A PAINT BUCKET IN THE KITCHEN AND APPEARED TO BE SLEEPING. I HAD EXPECTED A CALL FROM PAUL AS TO WHETHER TO LOCK THE DOOR WHEN HE LEFT BUT HE DIDN'T CALL. I TRIED TO CALL HIM SEVERAL TIMES ON FRI SINCE I THOUGHT HE WAS WORKING AT HE HOUSE AND ONLY REACHED HIS VOICEMAIL. HE LATER CALLED AND RATHER INDIGNANTLY SAID THAT HE HAD NOT ANSWERED BECAUSE HE WAS WORKING--BUT NOT AT MY JOB. I ASKED WHY HE HADN'T BEEN AT MY HOUSE AND HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT I HAD TOLD HIM THAT SINCE THE ROOF WAS LEAKING HE WAS NOT TO COME BACK TILL I CALLED HIM SAYING THE ROOF HAD BEEN FIXED. I NEVER HAD THAT CONVERSATION WITH HIM. HE ALSO SAID THAT HE HAD NOT PAINTED THE DINING ROOM CEILING BECAUSE THERE WAS TOO MUCH MOISTURE IN THE AIR. (WOULDN'T TURNING UP THE HEAT HAVE RECTIFIED THAT PROBLEM?) HE THEN SAID THAT HE WOULD PROBABLY BE ABLE TO COME BACK AFTER THANKSGIVING. THERE WAS NO LEAK AND THE PAN HAD BEEN PLACED ON THE FLOOR TO WATER A DOG. THE COUPLE HOURS WORTH OF WORK CERTAINLY DIDN'T WARRANT $400 AND I WAS SURPRISED THAT THE JOB DOESN'T EVEN HAVE TO BE COMPLETED TO RECEIVE PAYMENT. I FEEL THAT HE DID A TOKEN START ON THE JOB TO CONTRACT ME AND TO ACCESS THE MONEY AND THEN SHELVED IT TO GO DO OTHER JOBS. I DO NOT THINK THAT MY JOB WAS HANDLED ETHICALLY AND WOULD NOT TRUST HIM TO RETURN.</p> <br />

"I was to repair kitchen and dining room ceilings at a house [Member name removed] owned so it could go on the market. When we went in, she told me the kitchen ceiling was still leaking, but the dining room had been fixed. I told her I should not paint the kitchen ceiling until it was dry. I re-textured the dining room ceiling and painted all of it but the repairs which were not ready for paint yet. I told her I would finish painting the dining ceiling when I could return to repair and paint the kitchen. She was to call me when it was ready for me. She didn't; she called Angie's List instead with a complaint."

Paul did an outstanding job preparing and painting two upstairs bedrooms that had previously been wallpapered. He was professional throughout, was punctual, trustworthy and pleasant, and is meticulous in his work. I would most definitely call him again. <br />
