O'Harro Furniture Repair

I contacted Mr. O'harro when the footboard to my bed broke. I was unable to use the bed at all. When I contacted him he offered to come over right away so I could at least have the bed to sleep in. I asked him to come over the next day, he contacted me when he was ready to come over and was there within a half hour. He was very professional and neat with the work. I do believe the bed is actually stronger now than when it was first put together. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I had a 9pc dining room set, curio, & armoire refinished from original oak finish to antique white. It was a risk since I didn't know anything about the process. All I can say is WOW! I love it! Mr. O'Harro was very accommodating, traveling to NJ to show me work to make sure I liked my choice. I changed my mind on him about color, but he was very patient , again making the trip to NJ with my second choice. Chairs were also re-upholstered...beautiful! I feel like I have all new furniture without the cost. I am very pleased!

My ceder chest was picked up promptly. I was told it would be ready in 3 weeks but to my surprise the job was completed in 1 week. The ceder chest which is over 70 years old looked as good as new. Lynne S

Alexander did great work reupholstering our dining room chairs. He picked up the chairs at our home, did the work quickly and returned the chairs in less than a week. He worked with me to make the pickup and delivery convenient for me. The service alone was worth the price, but his work was high quality too. Two new bedroom chests were scratched and gouged accidentally; the repair did not seem to need extensive work. How wrong I was! Mr. O'Harro informed me that repairing these damages required sanding, refinishing, etc. Considering the cost, however, he opted just to cover over the problems so they were less noticeable. I was disappointed that one chest did not perfectly match its original color-but I believe Mr. O'Harro did what he could to improve both chests from the way he found them. Understanding what's involved in such projects will help me in future not to be surprised by the costs and complications.

Service representative came out exactly when he said he would. Was able to diagnose the problem with the reclining element on my leather sofa and tightened the mechanism to fix the problem. Repair bill not real cheap but problem was fixed to our satisfaction.
