Philadelphia House Painting

1.5 stars because the actual paint application was ok but the drywall work was the worst I've seen by a â professional. They were hired to do drywall repair and painting. They did not use corner tape in the corners and applied the material too thick in one application so it cracked within a few days. We contacted them and they said the problem was the house construction and not their craft and refused to respond to calls and messages after that. We had to carve away the cracking material and do the job right ourselves. Once we did, no cracking, proving them to be sloppy in application, lazy in technique, cheep in the tools and materials used and dishonest in their response to the craft issue. We shared photos of a sample section illustrating the cracking 1 week after they finished and a second photo with of the same section we fixed by removing their work and patching it properly. We thought we were saving time hiring a professional but it ended up costing us a lot of money and twice as much time because we had to remove their work. We gave them the opportunity to make it right or refund our money and that's when they stopped answering our messages.

They did a great job! They painted the interior of our house completing the job on schedule and at the estimated price. Jonathan was very easy to work with. We did everything from out of state up until seeing the finished product.

Jonathan and his team prepped and painted a very challenging ceiling. From start to finish, Jonathan met or exceeded my high expectations. He was responsive, detail oriented and thorough. I have extensive painting experience and his quote was higher but much more realistic than the others. Which meant I could be confident he wasn't going to get half way through the job and then start to cut corners or ask for more money. I would definitely use Philadelphia house painting again and recommend them to others.

Did not complete in a timely fashion. Sloppy work had to return many times. Deceptive information given. Years of experience not as advertised. Sorry to write this but I found and spoke directly to company owner for my rental property. My tenants were patient but inconvenienced for weeks. Owner needs to represent himself honestly in the future. A professional does not complain about a situation to the customer. Personal issues are not the customer’s problem.

Philadelphia House Painting is an incredible company to work with! They painted our entire house; the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. They also painted the exterior of our house which included four different colors. They were polite, courteous, professional and very easy to communicate with throughout the process.
