As soon as the permit was submitted in mid-August, Pro.com brought an army of subcontractors and machinery to work on the grading, rough plumbing/electricity, pier foundation and the steel framing assembly which was finalized around October 25th. Right now they are working on the SIP panels (roofing) and foam panels (walls). Therefore, there will be an additional review about my project in the future. Before working with Pro.com, I had issues with some other builders who refused to sign a fixed price contract. The last one ripped me off with an invoice four times above the estimate available in his â Good Faith Estimateâ for the rough grading . I was blessed when my geotechnical engineers, Abbie and Charlie from Sigma Prime Geosciences, Inc, who have also being so supportive, had asked Catherine Greer to give me a call and to have her and Drew Katona to convince me to shift to Pro.com. Perhaps, if I kept working with my previous builder without a fixed price contract, I would have run out of money before the end of the project. By the way, both Catherine and Drew contact me till today to see how things are going and to send some pictures of the workers in my property. My project manager, Juan Osorio, keeps me updated in a weekly basis via emails, phone calls and even in person meetings. Juan embraced my project with passion and took it personal. He goes above and beyond to support me with everything that I need. He is so experienced that he has proposed to my structural engineer that a pier foundation would be more cost effective and would last longer due to the characteristics of the soil in my property, instead of the traditional foundation initially proposed by my structural engineer. My geotechnical engineers Abbie and Charlie (Sigma Prime Geosciences, Inc.) were also outstanding, and without charging me any extra, have worked with Juan and my structural engineer in order to apply for an additional permit. Juan has also detected that the original lightning design wouldnâ t provide enough light, considering the disposition of my furniture. He drove all the way from San Francisco to my place in San Jose on Sunday, to propose a new lightning design, a smarter position of the outlets and an optimized driveway. When I had an issue with one of the companies that I had previously hired before meeting Pro.com team, Juan took the issue for himself and have also negotiated with them on my behalf. I feel lucky to start working with Pro.com. The company is extremely professional and they have been collecting my feedback via an electronic platform in a weekly basis. When I expressed my concern in one of the weekly reviews, Paul Soto (Customer Communications and Success Manager at Pro.com) called me at the same day so that my concern could be properly addressed by the upper management of Pro.com. Juan works very well with all stakeholders, including the companies that I had previously hired before meeting Pro.com, subcontractors and inspectors. Pro.com supports Juanâ s decisions aiming at making my family happy and provide the best experience with my new construction project. Therefore, I would like to share this experience with other families so that they can also benefit from Pro.com.
