R&R called immediately. We needed a steam boiler flushed out before the start of season & they came right away, which was great, and they were very professional and knowledgeable. But on the phone I was quoted $129-$159 which was competetive, but Ramon charged $189, because he added a cleaner to our system (which only costs $11 & took him just a minute to add). But he did repair a malfunctioning pressure indicator rather than selling/installing a new one. Just wish people would stick to their quotes if they can, since that is an important reason I hired them.

They were not very skilled in finding a leak. Technicians would make promises they couldn't keep. Spent lots of money and issue still was there. Was given back 40 bucks of the 500 I spent. I did pay for a recharge to begin with which was my fault as there was a leak. Had another tech come out and fixed problem in less then 1 day.

You paid $249 for a charge after being informed by our technician that there was a leak and that this was not a recommended repair.A month later you called us back.We performed different kind of leak tests, added new refrigerant and spent several labor hours in which you were not charged.We credited the $40 dye insertion charge because we were not able to resolve your issue.We are glad to hear that your issue was resolved and that your ac is working properly. Heat Pump Repair or Service
I would not recommend R&R to my worst enemy. I hired R&R to repair my heating/cooling system and entrusted them to do the work as they were recommended by ServiceMagic. The "specialists' they sent to do the job were incompetent with the exception of a few. Between the dates of 1/11 - 7/11 R&R would send someone to my house every other day to figure out the source of the problem caused by their faulty installation. My electric bill cost me $800-$1200 a month because they left the emergency heat on, which caused my energy bill to soar sky high while my cooling system wasn't able to fall below 78 degrees. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY!

Our company strives for 100% satisfaction of our customers but in this situation we believe that we addressed your concerns to the best of our knowledge. We replaced your faulty compressor in January. We received a call from you at the end of May were we found a refrigerant leak on your compressor and repaired at no cost. Later in June you called us back and that is when we found a short in the low voltage wiring causing heat strip to run constantly that we never worked on and we also repaired it at no charge."

R&R called me right away when I submitted my info through service magic. My central air way not working and it's supposed to be in the 90's this week. The people from R &R were professional and friendly. The experience was quick and painless. The price was reasonable as well. Now my AC is full functional all thanks to R & R. All scheduled appointments were kept on time (two visits). They explained things about the heating system to me and cleaned up well after work was completed. However, I can only give three stars because I still have the same problem with my heating system. It might not be their fault; perhaps a new system is needed, I don't know. So please don't pass on this company because I truly believe most people will get great results from them.

My AC went to sleep yesterday evening when we needed it most. I guessed that it was a frozen condenser or a-coil; but since I'm no mechanical wizz, I immediately came to you, and within, literally 5 minutes was speaking to Rosa from R&R Mechanical. She was understanding, polite, and easily understood my concerns, while asking the right questions to potentially diagnose the problem with my system. She scheduled an appointment for the AM today. Ramone, the other "R", arrived as scheduled, and was straight forward, no nonsense, engaging and informative. Ramone throughly checked the AC and heating system, offered his findings, made some corrections and spent the right amount of time to do what was necessary; and the bill was more than fair for the services rendered. I would recommend R & R Mechanical to anyone in the Philadelphia for both residential and commercial mechanical services. Ramone, by way of conversation, revealed his training, previous experience, and level of expertise. I myself am a Civil Engineer, and can assure you that this young man knows what he is doing, and does it well. Thank you servicemagic, and thank you R&R Mechanical

the guy came and i told him i needed a shot of freon cause the prior resident let all the freon out. he didnt listen to me. he did a bu8nch of unnessesary things and charge me 300 dollars to fill the system with froen witch i think is highway robbery. 300 dolloars in this economy is rediculous. i will never ever use them again.

Very dedicated staff. Rosa was very helpful in getting me an appointment as soon as possible. She was patient, kind and willing to explain things again when I was not sure of what whe was talking about in reference to the heater. My technician was determined to find the problem with my heater and he explained what the problem was, how he corrected it and made recommendations for future services needed. All I asked for is cleaning the oil furnace flue. They started by testing the furnace, which I did not ask for, made comments about its age and poor condition and provided a proposal to replace it with a new one. As to the flue, they just cleaned the 6' part between the furnace and the wall, but not all of it. They said that they did not bring the needed equipment. So now the major part of the flue going through the chimney remains uncleaned. Still they charged the full amount of $125.

"I apologize if you believe that you were getting a chimney sweeping and a flue pipe cleaning for $125. I scheduled the appointment and explained that the flue pipe is the metal going from your furnace to your chimney. At no time did we send the technician to perform a chimney sweeping...as to the condition of the furnace our technician Gabriel was very thorough and found many small cracks in your heat exchanger and therefore unsafe to run causing carbon monoxide (deadly gas) going to supply duct-work. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and I'm sorry to hear to you were not fully satisfied with our service."
