Rick was a very nice person to deal with. The drywall work was not perfection but was OK. I will have to go back and do a little cosmetic spackling touch up since it is on a ceiling area that is easily seen. We really noticed some cosmetic issues after painting.

Rick is one of the most detailed professionals I had the pleasure of working with. No he is not the cheapest (also, not the most expensive either), no he doesn't have a corporate office that spans the country. For those things, I am grateful. One of the issues you have with these corporate presence people is a lack of accountability. You get their name on the bill, but either the lowest bidder contractor performing the work or whoever is available at that time. Rick showed up and worked hard. The finished product is above my expectations. He is courteous and prompt. Day or night he responds to texts and emails. He has insightful ideas and knowledge that surpasses your days of googling the project before it starts; you know what I am talking about. Look closely at the work he performs and you will see his passion. He ended up replacing most of the deck, because it needed it. Every scrap of rot was removed and only clean edges prevailed. He replaced a railing that was rotted. Instead of cutting a flat 90 degree angle (like the previous builder) he integrated it with the angle of the deck. There must have been 5 individual cuts made to the end of the board that created a beautiful culmination of angles that integrated seamlessly. This is a true professional and a master carpenter at that. I could not have been happier with the work performed and I will put my name on the line as testimony to his abilities.

Rick was great to work with. At first, I let him know I had found a locksmith that had called first and was going to do the job. When the locksmith arrived, I was not impressed with what he said he was going to do to my door so I sent him away. I called Rick back and he arrived the next day. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to get the job done quickly and at a much more reasonable price than what the locksmith was going to charge. Rick installed two new deadbolts and a smart lock. Due to the house settling, the doors were completely out of alignment. He adjusted them, and replaced all the weather stripping. The doors work like new again. My dog liked him as well, so that was a bonus.

Most small handymen types lack proactive communication skills and general follwo up. Rick was very good at updating me on his timeline and scheduling via texts and calls. He showed up on time and ready to work. Rick explained how he went about the repair and provided excellent value for his time and expertise.

Richard Schulltz was prompt, professional, personable and proficient. The new entry locks that he installed work excellently. He also completed another small job for us that he was not scheduled to do in an efficient manner.

RIchard came with his team and remodeled our existing master bath. He showed up on time daily and was very good about discussing options and providing itemized pricing. The work was high quality and we are very happy with both Richard and our remodeled master bathroom. I would highly recommend Richard to others looking for general contracting services. Richard does high quality work and is always willing to explain and discuss options on repairs and remodels. His work is good down to the very detailed aspects and he is always thinking a few steps ahead. His knowledge of the construction industry and methods available is excellent. He is very good about providing itemized estimates, taking guesswork out of the decision making. Richard put in a complete brand new bathroom for us on the second floor of our house, work includes: new plumbing, new walls, new electrical, new shower, new toilet, new sink & vanity, floor tile and wall tile around the shower. He also put in two closets complete with shelving. It looks great and we are really happy with our new space and that we hired Richard. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for general contracting services for their home.
