Rod Plumbing was assigned by my home warranty company American Home Shield. The owner was incredibly rude and condescending, and he didn't even have the basic tools to unclog my bathroom sink. When I complained to AHS that my sink was still running slow he lied to them and said I had grease and "black gunk" in my sink so that he didn't need to come back to fix it. I ended up cancelling my plan with AHS because of this. He is a scam artist and I would not recommend him or his company for anything!

Showed up late. Was rude to my wife and suggested that her husband probably knows more Accused us of our water tank leaking (it is a gloss floor) and then touched it and realized he was wrong. All that needed to be fixed was having the pilot light turned back on (which I did) and they suggested that we get a full replacement. Took forever to communicate with our warranty. There have to be other options better than this one. Steer clear.

I had a backed up drain pipe along with pipes leaking under my kitchen sink. I'm happy to say everything is cleared, fixed and dry. Thanks to Rod Plumbing for not only coming out and making sure everything was good to go but also educating me on preventative measures and what pipes led where or did what. As a recent new homeowner the few minutes he took to answer my questions and show me some things were invaluable.

In 2018 I had a frozen kitchen pipe that had burst. I called the first plumber that was available. They came out and replaced the pipe but I had asked them to use installation as this pipe would freeze again. Luckily I made it through that winter by shutting off that pipe from the basement. On very frigid nights. this year in February the same thing happened again and I called them, they came out I asked them to install insulation as I had rolls of insulation. They did not have time to do anything much as they were in and out in 10 minutes, a security camera can prove that. I also; because of being visually impaired as I am partially blind in one eye and legally blind in the other I always record my business transaction so I can prove this. only the hot water came on but he told me that the pipe had ice in it was Saturday when the temperatures were in the 60s! I was fortunate or suspected enough to store water in tubs as it was supposed to go back to freezing in a few days, which it did. I called him to tell him that the water still did not come on and wanted to purchase heat wrap to avoid another freeze but he never responded back after I left the message on his number. After a week I called to tell him that the water was not burst and could he come to take a look still no response when I was down to my last few quarts of water I called again and left a message, he called back and said f****t (self-evident)on my answering machine then hung up. I called back but now he has blocked his phone. This is not a good neighborhood, so perhaps those who left praises have a better relationship but this happened to me and I can prove it. No one would write this as it could be considered slander and libel. but I have the tape and the phone logs. I called the better business before and they said that it seems to be more of a legal issue as they are responsible for compliance and advised to see a lawyer to get my money back as this involves a civil case . They charge $269 last year the problem reappeared and they never used insulation. This year they took the money and left without solving the water still not running. I had to call roto rooter to fix the leaking and now I want to see how I can get my money refunded when they did not do any of the proper procedures and did not provide any proper work orders or invoice just cashed the checks. I have an audio of the promise and the failures. Why he did what he did is not for me to say. Maybe it might take a civil court to get my money back for the damages and the work not properly done and the suffering I endured thinking that they could be trusted. Again if you live in a better neighborhood you might be treated better and have good things to say, but I live in a rotten area and was treated exactly as I described perhaps that is how they do business. It is hard to type this both physically and emotionally as I am 62 years old and have poor vision. Sill trying to figure why he did this maybe a judge will decid

Eric fit me in after I called at 11 am on an already busy Saturday. He was knowledgeable, efficient and very well priced. It was a great end to what looked to me like a disaster at 11 am.

Eric was vey friendly and professional. He not only repaired one toilet but three toilets. Eric explained everything to me what he was repairing and replacing. The price was very affordable. I highly recommend Rod Plumbing to anyone who has any plumbing problem.

Eric is simply amazing!!! He is THE most experienced, kind, and capable master plumber I've ever met. I am a real estate broker and had a problem with the dishwasher. With the parade of appliance companies and other plumbing companies sending dozens of technicians, everyone is pointing finger at the other. Then comes Eric. It only took him less than 10 minutes to fix all the problems. He is also punctual. Other technician always give you 3 to 4 hours window, Eric will tell you when he will be there. And he IS. Very happy with their service, professionalism and price. I would highly recommend them before contacting a big name company. Same day service, no fee for coming out to do an evaluation.(A big name company were charging a fee to do an assessment) Overall experience, extremely pleased.

They do superior work. We supplied the fixtures and parts they installed them. They were careful, fixed a difficult to get to leak, were detailed oriented, neat, careful and were meticulous with their work. Would recommend them highly for all plumbing related projects.

Unlike some of the contractors always letting you leave message but never call you back, Mr. Rod promptly communicate with me either with phone call or message. Service is good and price is fair.

I called Rod plumbing on Friday at 7 PM they came out 7:30 am the next morning and fixed our leaking pipe and a toilet that has been running for months! Eric was very pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable. We will use them again and recommend them to others!

I was having an issue a "Sensor Issue" with my 40 Gallon Bradford White, Gas operated Hot Water Heater's, Honeywell Gas Control. The owner of Rod Plumbing, "Rod" called me before the end of that business day. I stated to Rod what my issue was with my Bradford Hot Water heater, he was very patience and listen to my ramblings and he could tell automatically from my description of my issues with my Honeywell Gas Control what the problem was. Rod asked that I send a PIC of Front bottom Panel of Water heater and knew from the PIC that the sensor for this type of Hot Water Heater has a tendency of malfunctioning after a couple of years. Rod recommended that I attempt to fix this issue myself & save money for an rather inexpensive and quick repair. Via Rod's patience & Guidance over the phone, I was able to repair the issue I was having with my Hot Water Heater Gas Control. I love the fact that Rod called when he said he was going to call. Excellent service. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. They are prompt, and thorough. They ran into some issues since my home is older but kept the estimate the same as quoted. I recommend them highly and will use them again if needed
