Two nice men showed up. Very professional. Timely. Did not overcharge us. Our sink was leaking thru the pipes on one side of the kitchen sink.

This was first time that I used Home Advisor and didn't know what to expect. I was happy to find out that it was a good experience. Lee came over right away, was competitively priced, professional, friendly, cooperative, flexible and fast. We were replacing an extremely old, out-of-use basement toilet, which two handymen wouldn't touch, and Lee picked up our new toilet at Lowes and installed it in an hour. I recommend him and will call him the next time I need his services.

Strange experience with this plumber. My bath tub would not stop running and I made things worse by trying to fix it myself. Water shot everywhere, it was a like a scene from a bad sitcom. I had to shut the water down to the entire house. I got on Angie's List, which I guess is now Home Advisor and put in a request for a plumber. Lee Wallingford, who I assume is the owner, texted me immediately saying he could do it the next day. It was later in the evening when he texted and I appreciated that. The next morning we texted, he was scheduled for him to come out. He came out, got that tub faucet disabled so I could put the water back on in the house. He had to cut a hole in the wall to access the plumbing and did a good job. The hole is nice and clean. My wife met him at the house and said he was nice. His price was very reasonable, a little over $80. He could not do any more work on it that day because we wanted to get the part from Moen as it was under warranty. He said he would email a quote for the labor for replacing the piece that broke and then once we got the part he would come do it. I never heard from him so i sent him an email asking him when I would get the estimate. No response. Texted him a few days later in case he didn't get the email. He responded and said he would check when he got home. Never heard from him. He could have had a good customer and a good review but instead, he didn't have the courtesy to respond. It's so simple: just treat people respectfully and courteously and you will get the benefit of the doubt . But ignoring a customer is bad business. All he had to do was text or email me saying he was too busy to do the rest of the job and I would have moved on and never thought anything of it.

Scammer! Avoid using him for services! On December 10th I hired Wallingford Plumbing for some plumbing work. The bill was for $300, which I paid via credit card. The next day, I noticed on my credit card site that he charged $3000, not $300. It has been 30 days- every phone call and email has been avoided, and even a letter mailed to his business has gone unanswered. He has yet to respond to any of the many contacts I have attempted, so he is clearly avoiding me. I have a dispute open with our credit card company, hoping they will reverse the charges. But learn from our pain- do NOT do business with this company.

I went through the process of requesting a quote through Angie s List. I selected quotes from two plumbers. Lee Wallingford called within 15 minutes and explained that he could swing by and provide a free estimate on unclogging a bathroom sink. From the time I went on Angie s List to Lee Wallingford unclogging my sink was probably within two hours. That s fast service! I just may gotten them at the right time. I would recommend him. He and his assistant were very cordial, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves.

Excellent work. Flexible timing with my schedule. This was my first experience with home advisor and I would recommend tying it. Had some general plumbing leaks fixed and changed a faucet.

Inaccessible leak in second floor bathroom drain pipe. House is 88 years old, ended up replacing several corroded galvanized pipes. Lee called right away and we set up an appointment for him to assess the problem. He arrived on time and immediately went to work. Since the galvanized pipes were so corroded and we decided to have them replaced, the job ended up being more work than anticipated. But Lee and his assistant took care of it, even though it required several hours the next day to finish the work. They did a great job. They were very professional, polite and did an excellent job cleaning up (very appreciated!!!) . We have already recommended Wallingford plumbing to a friend and we will definitely use them again.

(Hot water tank install) Lee & Damien (hope I spelled it right) came out & did an outstanding job! Told me the minute they picked up the tank & were on the way.
