Wasted this money.  Bought 2 deals and they never fulfilled the tasks.  Tired of making appointments they did not keep.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It didn't work out so good. They wouldn't do the service because they said I needed all new electric. I didn't spend any more than the Big Deal. I did get new electric for under $2,000 with another company.

We sold the house and the home inspecter informed us the breaker box wiring was out of code one year after the work was originally done. A-best double tapped the common wires. We paid another company to get this corrected since a- best is no longer at the number provided. The 3 year transferable warranty did us no good <br />We could not contact them by phone or from the webpage on angies list. Very disappointed. <br />

They took three weeks to get back to me. I would not hire them.

Went very well. Very professional. Some concern from company about the number of lights being installed outside. Workers went above and beyond to ensure what I asked to get done, got done.

It was a disaster.  First, the electrician arrived at 7 in the evening, and he didn't have enough parts to complete the work specified in the Big Deal.  Furthermore, he spent a large amount of time on the phone trying to figure out the situation with his boss, and he never showed up to finish the work like he had promised.

I can only stste that the task was completed timely because I didn't stand outside to watch the technician. The area in the garage where the work was left clean. <br />

One of them proceeded to tell me that my house was in danger of fire and that I should let them start <br />the job that evening for some outrageous amount like $8,000. Because I am a female and was home alone <br />I felt like I was being railroaded and bullied. I refused their offer and had another inspector look at the electrical system <br />and while some outlets were not grounded properly, there was no imminent danger of fire. Additionally the notations A-Best made in he panel door is barely legible. <br />While one of the employees was acceptable I felt intimidated by the other employee of A-Best and would never want him in my house again. <br />

They stayed as long as required to get everything done. They were the ones that made the decision to clean up all the dangling wires and switches for us which was very helpful. They did a lot of extra work in the basement to make it safer and easier for us. We had not gotten any other estimates for electrical work so we can't really say anything about the cost. We felt that they did a lot of work and spent a lot time here. They were extremely thorough, neat and clean and very professional. We had some serious problems to be taken care of and they found the problems and fixed them in a timely manner. We would use them again. We would also recommend them to other customers. <br />

Joseph Ciccio was the person whose name was on the coupon code I received.  He made one call to me right after I purchased the coupon.  However, since I had sometime before the coupon would expire I didn't have the work done right away.  When I decided to have the work done, I had to make several phone calls before I got a response.  Each time I called I got a voice message saying "the field supervisor is on another line and would get back to me in 15 minutes."  He never got back to me. <br /> It wasn't until I sent an email to electricjoe@gmail.com that I received a call back.  An appointment was set up and Joe, the sales  representative came out.  He looked at my breaker box and said it was in bad shape and needed to be replaced.  It was a fire hazard.  I made the mistake of listening to him and not having my coupon in front of me which said " Last Chance: $199 for complete breaker box or fuse box rewire including up to 20 new breakers or fuses!"   A $199.00 ended up costing me an additional $2234.00.  According to the coupon my box should have been rewired including up to <strong>20 new breakers</strong>.  My other mistake was not getting a second opinion. <br /> Having that second ground rod installed was not necessary.  I have been in my house since 1971 and had electrical work done when I had a new heater and central air conditioning put in about three years ago.  I asked why I needed another ground rod when I already had one.  He said he wouldn't put in the panel unless the other ground rod was put in which was $800.00 more that brought my bill up to $2234.00.  Although, he said there was no pressure, I think back now that his sounding so concerned about the condition of my box, was pressure. <br /> The technician, Charles, I was satified with.  However, he only did what Joe, his boss, the person who originally came to see me told him to do.  I feel I was greatly overcharged.  My mother had a new breaker box installed in her three story house by another company from Angie's list and it cost less than half of what I paid. <br /> And to top it off, the technician that took my credit card payment on his cell phone made a mistake and overcharged me $446.80.  He told me right away and said I would be reimbursed.  I didn't get upset because this was his first day using the gadget on his cell. A credit was to be issued to me.  When I didn't get the credit within a reasonable time for over a month, I called and was told that it was a lot of trouble to put the credit back on my card.  I never heard of this before.  Joe said he would send me a check.  On July 3, 2013, I finally received a cashier's check for $450.00. <br /> I cannot recommend this company A-best Electric, Inc.  Although, the technician was personable and did the work he wa told to do.  The sales pitch I received from Joe was not creditable.  This experience has taught me to always get a second or maybe a third opinion. <br />

Using A-Best Electric to install new lights in my kitchen was great decision. The installation went very smoothly, they were prompt and professional. I requested smaller light than what was listed as The Big Deal and they were very accommodating. I would use this company again. <br />

. the work was being done was  at best puzzling and cast a shadow over the entire experience. What makes this review diffulcut is that I want to give higher marks for the work that was done since we have not had any problems to date but the fact that even after they called to set up one last visit to tie up some remainig concerns they never showed up and this makes it diffulcult to have positive feelings. Questions about the supposedly HOME SURGE PROTECTION system and WARRANTY and how to handle any future issues regarding it have never been explained or paperwork supplied. When it is so hard to reach the boss it creates  an environment of distrust be it real or imagined. <br />

Was expecting labels to be used, not hand-written by marker.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were good. I didn't spend any additional.

I paid $250.00 for them to come out and change electrical box, they gave quote for $5000.00 and performed no service!
