Anthony's Painting & Paper Hanging

They came and took our deposit and they never came back. They would never return calls or show up for appointments. This guy is a thief.

They came and performed the estimate. They said they that if I agreed with their estimate to call them and they would perform the work. I called around for a couple of other estimates but ultimately decided to call them back to have them perform the work. They owner came back with a proposal and also asked for a $200 deposit, which I gave. The first day they were supposed to come to my house, they didn’t show up. I asked to speak with manager and I was informed they were short people that day and they wouldn’t make it. He said they would have someone come out the next day, which they did. They found out they were unable to take wall paper down in one area and that I would need to sign another contract, which was $300 less. I did this and I picked out colors that I wanted for the walls. They were supposed to come out again to apply the paint but didn’t show up again. I had taken a half day at work and everything for this. They didn’t call and didn’t show. I told them that after that that I didn’t want to do business with them. They had cashed my deposit before they even started the work, which is illegal. I requested a refund for the $200 back last Thursday, however, I have not seen a refund.

Anthony (the owner) came and gave a quote yesterday. Following some negotiation we agreed on the price. He said he would bring his crew back within five days and came the next day with all of the equipment and paint. They painted the entire day and left with the job completed. Overall, they underpromised and over-delivered. After we agreed on the price they executed. There was no nickel and diming, which I was extremely grateful for. I would hire them again.

We called and Albert (brother of owner) can out and check out the work that we want to get done . He took come measurement and give us suggestiong and ideas of what can be done. He said that he price was a mid-range based on any other company we might us. He left us with an estimate. After checking out a few other painting companies we decided to go with Anthony Painting & Paper Hanging based on their experience, portfolio and cost. They started on Monday and was completed by Thursday, per my son they arrived daily around 8:00am and worked until 4:00pm. The result was great, but there's a couple items that was overlooked, that we're in the process of contacting them to resolve. We will most likely used them again.

He was super. They work fast and they were good. I was amazed that they didn?t need painter?s tape to tape things off. I had a good experience with them and the pricing was fair. They aren't all that professional but they are funny if you are up for that kind of thing.

They were very professional! I would come in at different times of the day wondering if I would catch them goofing off. Every time I came home, they were all working! I would recommend Anthony's to friends and family or anyone needing painting or wallpaper done.
