Excellent!!! Christopher Rubio was very responsive and kept me abreast of time of arrival throughout the day. He had a project in the morning and was coming to perform work for my mom later in the day. I was coming from an hour away so trying to coordinate time. He was very punctual and ended up waiting for me to arrive since I was delayed in traffic. Install went very well. We ran into a snag with one of the shower bars because the second stud could not be clearly identified, so Christopher immediately located a hardware store nearby and purchased tile anchors to secure bar into wall. He wanted to ensure that the bars installed were safe for my mom as if he were installing them for his mom or grandmother. He left the area clean and performed the job well. He made an elderly woman (my mom) very happy and I have piece of mind that my mom is safe having grab bars in her shower area. Thanks Christopher! I highly recommend Christopher to anyone whom is seeking a handyman. (He does painting, plumbing, electrical, TV Mounting, baby proofing and misc repairs as well).

Went great. He works in an efficient and tidy fashion, and takes time to share his knowledge of the job so I feel I understand the work needed much more clearly than I had when I called him. He found more rust than either of us had hoped but we were able to create a clear maintenance plan that I can do myself for the future, and he encouraged me to see that I can defer the big job of replacing a metal kick plate railing instead of worrying right away.

Christopher was meticulous in performing all tasks. He was very friendly, diligent and exacting in his work. Results were exceptional (if those adjectives can be applied to such work). Also, he took all instructions and suggestions enthusiastically. His work was only outdone by his seeming desire to get the results I wanted. Though a little late for his scheduled arrival, he called early in the morning and again later to tell me his new arrival time. Such communication was very welcome. I am lucky to have found him, would hire him again in an instant and highly recommend his services.

Christopher was awesome! I spent months and months asking around trying to hire family, friends & other "professionals" to help knock out some home projects I needed done. I finally found someone who is knowledgeable, flexible & VERY well priced for quality craftsmanship. Christopher went above and beyond to make sure my family got exactly what we wanted brining us a couple of choices to choose from. We now have a bluetooth (to stream music) fan multi-light combo that came out pretty dope. I have already asked if he could return to build some custom window screens and the wife is looking into having him redo the kitchen floor. Christopher is a keeper!

Great! Very professional and prompt service. I truly can't complain! The handyman that came was Christopher and he was so nice! He also speaks Spanish and was able to communicate with my elderly mother and even gave her a bottle of water from his bag, very sweet. The work was perfect and I have since used him for several other jobs around the house including painting my bathroom, installing ceiling fans in my bedrooms and he changed my garbage disposal.

While the work was done in a timely manner, the group spilled paint in 4 locations on the carpet. When asked to stop by and clean up the mistakes, the firm was non-responsive. As the work needed to be done fairly quickly (within one day), the firm certainly charged accordingly. Since completion, other contractors have done work in the unit and have commented that I was overcharged for the work.

"SHE WAS SUCH A PLEASANT CUSTOMER. SHE ASKED TO DEMOLISH 3 WALL MOUNTED CLOSET SYSTEMS, PAINT 3 LARGE CLOSETS AND INSTALL BASEBOARDS IN THESE CLOSETS. THE WALLS NEEDED SEVERAL PATCHING AND REPAIR. PRICE INCLUDED EVERYTHING LISTED ABOVE AND INCLUDED A DUMP FEE AND PAINTING BASEBOARD AND TRIM. WE WORKED OVER 14HRS THAT DAY AND WORKED AS HARD AS WE COULD. WE SPILLED TWO DROPS, ONLY TWO DROPS, AND WAS CLEANED IMMEDIATELY WITH WATER. SEVERAL DAYS LATER SHE CONTACTED ME SAYING THE "CHEMICALS" WE USED "BLEACHED" HER CARPET. I EXPLAINED IN AN EMAIL THAT WE ONLY USED WATER, SHE WAS LEFT SPEECHLESS. I TOLD HER IT WAS POSSIBLY " CLEAN" SPOTS ON HER CARPET AND I OFFERED TO CLEAN AREA FREE OF CHARGE, EXPLAINING CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE. SHE REPLIED TELLING ME SHE COULDN'T DO IT ON THE DAY I HAD ASKED SO I ASKED HER TO TELL ME A CONVENIENT TIME AND SHE NEVER REPLIED. I HAD. EMAILED HER ABOUT A WEEK OR SO AFTER TELLING HER I WAS GOING TO BE IN THE AREA AND SHE SAID SHE NEEDED MORE NOTICE, PERFECTLY UNDERSTANDABLE, SO I ASKED AGAIN TO LET ME KNOW A CONVENIENT TIME AND HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HER UNTIL THIS REVIEW. THE REVIEW WAS VERY SHOCKING AND I FEEL THAT I HAVE FAILED AT MAKING THIS CUSTOMER HAPPY AND IT UPSETS ME. I DO THIS TO PAY FOR COLLEGE, I LOVE WHAT I DO. I AM NOT IN THIS BUSINESS TO MAKE A MILLION DOLLARS BUT RATHER BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH MY CUSTOMERS. IF THERE IS ANYTHING I COULD DO FOR HER I WOULD DO IT."

It went great. It was all done over two half-day sessions. He first plastered and premiered our kitchen ceiling, and then installed the wall mirror and flat-screen TV mount. A couple of days later (after the primer dried), he returned to apply the paint, and then installed the track lights and the oven fan.

Great communication and great service. Chris showed up as scheduled to estimate, provided an accurate quote, and was able to schedule a worker to come in just four days later. The drywall finish work was excellent. But Chris earned our highest respect after the job was finished: Chris' drywaller used our utility sink as a water source for mixing plaster and for some clean up, and a few hours after the work was done we found that it would not drain correctly. Chris came over right away on a Saturday evening and snaked the drain, even snaked the other plumbing nearby to fix the problem. Made sure we were completely satisfied before calling the job complete. He also sent a Thank You card a few days later. Our job was pretty small compared to many remodel projects, but Chris treated us like we were his number one priority.

Chris is the third person I hired for this work. The first man kept promising he'd do the work but never got around to it, the second was a company I hired off of Angieslist - they were Mutt and Jeff, basically - inefficient, late, yammering on the phone the whole time, and leaving a god-awful mess. My interior designer referred Chris to me and I'm so grateful he's come into my life! Settling into my new place has gone from a nightmare to a pleasant experience. And at a reasonable price. Not the cheapest, probably, but work that can't be challenged by anyone. He's far more than a "handyman," but I think it's the best category for Chris because he's so versatile and game to tackle any job I give him.
