Jerry responded in < 1 hour regarding an issue I was having with my internal webcam. After remoting into my PC, he recommended that because of the PC's age I should purchase an external webcam. While still on my PC, he found the specific webcam on Amazon and dropped in my cart. When asked for the charge, he replied "$0.00". Received the webcam today --- problem solved. I would call Jerry for any future computer issues, definitely a great guy.

I have been using Jerry Jones (TechBachelors) for years for various computer issues, from figuring out connectivity issues to helping me select equipment upgrades. He is amazingly knowledgeable and efficient. He is easy to work with. Very highly recommended!

Jerry Jones, President of TechBachelors, recently fixed our home computer.  Our hard drive had died.  Jerry came to our home to evaluate the problem.  He replaced the broken drive with a new solid state drive.  He reloaded all the necessary stuff on the computer and we are happily computing again (took about a week).  Well worth the reasonable cost to save our expensive computer.  He doesn't just fix computers, but does all sorts of tech stuff.  Call him, if you need any kind of tech help.  Super efficient.

Very well. I will absolutely use Jerry again and are in the process of optimizing my system with his input. A no-nonsense pro. Fair price.

Jerry completely went over my computor. Installed a new virus protection. Was very satisfied. He is very professional. The only problem,,,, He doesn't converse with you. Wants to work in peace and quiet. When he is all done, he will call you and explain what transpired.

While we were preparing our 2016 tax returns, we suddenly lost all video output on our five year HP desktop. Mr. Jones of Techbachelors responded to our phone message promptly and came out the same day and found our video card completely dead. He was surprised himself to find that no video card back up was on our motherboard, a rare circumstance he said. With the video card dead, we could see nothing. It could not even be linked to another computer to see and access the data. He suggested that the age of our computer and potential costs did not merit its repair, but recommended a replacement, based on the values out there today on even better technology. This might have been a smart thing to do but it meant that we would lose everything on the computer. But we had an external backup for this, didn't we? Unfortunately, the years of monthly backup through HP had meant nothing because we had not been using our external backup's own program nor a cloud to save. (DO NOT USE YOUR OWN COMPUTER'S BACKUP PROGRAM FOR THIS REASON!.) We were not only looking at hours of redoing our taxes but losing years of photos, videos, and documents. He explained that we could still transfer all of that data which would timely and very expensive but held out hope that he could find a compatible videocard to avoid that. He did. He had squeezed his appointment in with us that day and had others later, but, while stopping at Micro Center for another customer, found a card and took the time to install it and it worked! We were flabbergasted to receive a call later that same night to say the computer was ready. He found the least expensive way to go and accomplished it within a short time. This is the third time that we have used this business. Each time, Jerry Jones has been prompt, professional, thorough, patient, and generous with his knowledge and advice. His hourly prices have increased somewhat since the last time that he came out, but I would not trust anyone else at this point. What price do you put on integrity?

<p>Before I called TechBachelors,  I removed all the temporary files I didn't need, programs I wasn't using being given advice as to how to solve the problems,  The low disc space error message continued along with not being able to update anything.  TechBachelors  took care of another problem I had some time ago, so because I wasn't able to fix my now existing problem myself, I called Jerry Jones.  He worked on my computer, explained the problem was not what I was told it probably was, so what I was doing was not  solving the problem.  When he finished, my computer was fixed. Early this morning, my computer was busy updating itself which was something that hadn't happed in quite a while with all the problems I was having.</p> <p>I am so glad I called this computer expert when I did.  He is who I use for computer issues and recommend him to anyone needing help. </p> <br />

<p>I have used Jerry Jones of Tech Bachelors several times before, always with the same responsive, highly professional, highly knowledgeable results.  In this case I wanted a new laptop.  We discussed my uses for it and he translated my non-technical wishes into a high powered laptop which was very reasonable in price for the features I requested.  He bought one laptop from a store, found it to be defective and had to return it for another, a process which would probably been a nightmare of time and store doubletalk for me to  have figured that out and had it replaced with a good one.  He purchased the correct version of Microsoft office for our needs and installed this, along with some antivirus software prior to our appointment.</p> <p>   Jerry came for our appointment to our house on time, and without any fanfare, he loaded the other software we needed in stalled, integrated it into our home network, explained Windows 10 to us (my wife and I), and got us started.  This required loading a language program we use from a DVD and since he had an external disc drive with him, he did this while troubleshooting some other glitches we had with our existing laptop and network extender.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> </p> <p>Jerry is highly knowledgeable, efficient, and professional.  He charges a reasonable fee for his time.  He is quick to answer calls for help and advice over the phone is given and when necessary, he sets up a time to come over.  This personalized service from a reliable trustworthy source in worth it to me.  It saves me so much aggravation!! <br /> <br /> <br /> </p> <p>We highly recommend him!</p> <br />

We never could have done this ourselves. The DVD player needed an alternative way to connect to the internet, and the streaming service was also finicky! But finally, all is working!
