The painting and the price were both excellent, and the painter is friendly and agreeable.I would have given him five stars except that he didn't cover the floors as carefully as he might have and I stumbled over the edges of the paper a few times, and had a little paint to clean up after he left. Also, he came with a can of Kilz primer he intended to use. Since there was already a coat of paint under the wallpaper he was to remove I don't think primer was necessary, and I didn't want him to use Kilz in any case because of the VOCs in it. The start of the project was briefly delayed so he could return the Kilz and just have primer added to the paint at Home Depot. He was agreeable about this and now he knows. Still I thought I should mention it.
