I’ve been using Independent Air Conditioning since 2012 and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Bernie is friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable, committed to customer service and, above all, a truly honest businessman. Bernie will let you know when you’re A/C needs service but, more importantly, he’ll also tell you when just an adjustment or minor repair will suffice. As a Realtor for almost 30 years I’ve seen more than my fair share of A/C companies and Independent A/C is the only one that I recommend to clients, friends and family without hesitation.

Great. Jose was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Came late the same day to help. Looked over everything and located the issue. Kept me informed throughout the process and showed me exactly what he saw. Fixed the problem. He could have probably told me it was my thermostat, but he didn't. He was honest and told me he would fixed what appeared to be the problem and waited until after that to access the thermostat. Saved me $200, since it wasn't the thermostat. Very happy with the service this company has provided. They are very honest and hard working.

Bernie was great. He was able to come within 40 minutes. Just like the last time I hired them 3 years ago, he showed me everything and explained everything. Quoted me upfront, after he showed me what had happened and what was needed to fix it. Did a wonderful job fixing it. Turned out I had a wire short out and burn a hole in the freon line, which in turn drained all my freon. He was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. This is why I continue to stay loyal to them, as they provide me with the same level of service every time. I would highly recommend them.

I've been using Independent A/C for about 5 years now and have always been very pleased with their service and business ethics. They show up on time, are always friendly and professional, and always give me an honest opinion of our systems condition. Not once has anyone from Independent A/C tried to upsell me parts or services and that's a business ethic that I really appreciate.

Poor, no upfront estimates, did not fix

I had a warranty issue they wanted to charge me like $500. They insisted I had to pay for labor, but I told them it was under warranty. So we had an issue with that. They were supposed to do a 30 point check. I am supposed to get two air filters, do you think I got an air filter, no. They were just a waste of space. He changed things with my drainage lines. I changed it back once he left. My outside unit was making a noise. The guy took a ten minute job and drug it out. He was to replace the motor and fan blades, he bent the blades, it was quieter but they had to come back out and they tried to charge me more money.

Jason is awesome. Also, I'm so grateful that Independent A/C was the only company I called who answered the phone when I made a handful of calls bc my a/c was not working. Jason fixed the issue (temporarily), & helped find the leak. He also suggested we check if the unit is still under warranty (it was!). The office handled contacting the manufacturer & getting the new coil. But, I've had working a/c in the mean time! I also purchased the yearly service contract. Very pleased with the service and professionalism!

The best AC man in Naples. I have had three others who told me they put a new compressor in and DIDN'T. I will always use Independent AC. He is fast, reliable and honest.

They are wonderful to deal with and I recommend them highly. They are polite, professional and reasonably priced. After doing the work they cleaned everything up, even wiped down my floors. This is the second time I've hired them and I will be dealing with them exclusively from now on. If I could I would give them A+. Both times I worked with Dominick and the second time he had another helper named Steve. Both were very good but Dom is great, a very nice young man.

Hi was extremely happy with this company and found Dom to be very professional, very nice and easy to work with. I also was very happy with the price and will call them again if I need anything done. Highly recommend them!

They were very prompt is responding. Very professional and courteous. I had just moved in the home two weeks prior from another state. They offered to help me understand my system, what to do maintain it and how to do it. They fixed my system quickly.

Responded on a weekend and got the work done Monday. i signed up for regular service.

From the first call to when they came out to check the unit, they were very professional, knowledgeable. Because the issue is related to how the a/c unit is installed (condensation build up), there was nothing much they could do. They provided me with a few suggestions. I respect their honesty & their professionalism. Will definitely recommend this company to everyone & will use them for my future HVAC needs

The tech determined that the outside fan was struck my lightening causing a part to explode. The current traveled into the house and fired the mother board. I found them to be efficient and fixed it right away. They even did the paperwork for the warrenty to find that one of the parts are covered. I would definitely recommend this business.

We couldn't be happier with Independent A/C and would recommend them to anyone looking for thorough, courteous, professional service at a fair price. We've used them for several years now and they've always been very responsive. Most recently Domenic came to our home three times over a three week period to try and locate a probable Freon leak (all for one fixed, fair, price). Unfortunately once the leak was found an easy, inexpensive fix was not possible although much lower priced stopgap measures were offered by Bernie Jr. <br> <p> Ultimately we realized that a complete new system was the only really sensible way to proceed. Independent worked with our somewhat difficult work schedule and communication, via email, with Bernie Jr. was always handled very quickly.</p> <p> Domenic and Jason arrived within minutes of the agreed upon start time accompanied by the owner of the company, Bernie Sr.<br> The weather was not particularly cooperative for such a big job, much of it outdoors, and, after working for many hours, it looked like we might have to go the weekend without A/C. Domenic assured us that they would do everything possible to make sure that didn't happen and ultimately he and Jason were able to complete the job late in the day. Domenic and Jason made sure everything was running perfectly and that our attic and garage were completely broom clean before they left.</p> <p>The next business day we received an email confirmation that our system had been registered with the manufacturer. Something our previous A/C company neglected to do.<br></p> <p> If you need A/C service call Independent. Independent A/C responded quickly to my call for service and inspected and diagnosed my non functioning package air unit as requiring replacement. Independent A/C had, two years earlier, repaired my non functioning unit and had cautioned me then that the unit was nearing its end of life. I was shown the issues that now resulted in the current determination to replace and my questions were patiently answered to permit me to concur with that conclusion. I was promised a same day quote to complete the job. <br /> <br /> Within two hours of the initial service I was contacted with recommendations for equipment to be installed and a complete price. I was satisfied with the recommendation and price and requested Independent A/C schedule the job. I was not asked for a deposit but was rather told that no payment was necessary until the job was complete. The job was immediately scheduled for the following week. <br /> <br /> The following week Independent A/C arrived with the new package unit and began installation.  The work was completed by men who were courteous, friendly and most importantly competent and professional. The unit was installed and functioning the same day. A cover for the outside duct work required manufacturing and this was promised for the following week. As promised the following week I was contacted for an appointment to install the cover. Independent A/C again attended as scheduled and initiated installation. Unfortunately the original design of the cover proved to be flawed. Without debate Independent A/C made a decision to have the cover reconstructed to new specifications and assured me that it would be completed as soon as possible. <br /> <br /> The following week an appointment was made to install the new modified cover. Again Independent A/C arrived as scheduled and completed the installation of the cover which now fit very nicely. As the job was completed the Independent A/C technician asked me if I was happy with the work done. I was very happy with the work completed and the professionalism of the company representatives. I was charged exactly the price quoted. <br /> <br /> I feel fortunate to have chosen Independent A/C to complete my air conditioning replacement as they have proven to be both professional and trustworthy. I will certainly continue to choose them for my future a/c needs and would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking professional, trustworthy a/c services at a competitive price. <br /> <br />

I could not recommend this company enough.  They have been great and deserve much praise.  If you need AC services in Southwest Florida, use this company!! <br />

They come out with a truck full of parts and tools.  The owner came personally when he knew I had an issue others were trying to replace my unit over.  He told me I needed just a valve, not a huge overhaul.  I did have to order the full part to take just the valve off, but we only used a piece of it which saved me a ton of money in refrigerant replacement and man hours.  For $400 he got us back in working order when my other estimates were $1300 or full replacement.   <br /> 2 months later the AC went out again.  This time the fan went.  They had warned us it was close to being an issue the 2 months prior and greased it up for us to help buy us time (We just bought a house and the AC was neglected, but the compressor is still under warranty!)  They did a same day fix for less than $200. <br /> Plus the "If we don't fix it - we don't charge you" guarantee is pretty awesome. <br />

This company is the best. We have been using them for about a a year. They provide solutions without nickel and diming you out of money. Even when we hit a 'rough' patch in the job, they came back as needed and when promised. They have one particularly good technician Mike he should be commended for his patience and expertise. I will be penning a note to the owning about his excellent ability. Thank you Mike for all you did to correct and service my unit. <br /> <br />

Prompt service (next day). Technician Mike called me from my home since I was out of state at the time. Mike clearly explained all the testing that he performed and answered all my questions and concerns. His knowledge and professionalism assured me that my 15 year old system is operating correctly and in good condition. A full diagnostic report was emailed to me the following day. <br />
