They did a great job and came out an hour after I called to put in a temporary pump on a Saturday. When he found a pump we needed, he came back out on a Tuesday and put that in instead. I would highly recommend them and I will hire them again.

Called Jerome Plumbing to schedule service and was given an approximate work date. Emailed Steve (the owner) as the date neared to firm up the schedule. Steve immediately called me back and indicated his crew would be out in 2 days. A team of 2 arrived as scheduled and installed new shutoff valves for the kitchen sink faucet and replaced several non-working (could not turn off) valves in the basement. They also installed a new secondary shutoff valve at the water main as the existing one was only 95% holding. The guys advised that we keep an eye on the original main valve as it very possibly could fail in the next year or so, and it would be a much, much smaller headache to replace BEFORE it failed rather than after! The crew also replaced the hodgepodge of piping that served to drain the kitchen sink, putting in a new trap, tailpiece, slipnuts, and washers. Several years ago, the water supply to the bathtub/shower in the master bath stopped flowing, probably as a result of non-use. (There is a stall shower in the other second floor bath that we prefer to use.) The guys took a look at the problem, postulated as to what might be wrong, and discussed possible fixes. The project is not a priority, so we took their recommendations under advisement and filed the job away in the to-do-before-we-sell-the-house file. They also attempted to repair a leaking shower in the other second floor bathroom using parts I had purchased, but I bought the wrong parts! The fixture is quite old, and the crew did not have the necessary parts on hand. It was decided that we could do the repair ourselves once I purchased the correct parts. The crew did quality work and used quality parts. It also was evident that they stay current with regards to the latest trends, improvements, and information within the field. As a welcomed surprise, Steve Jerome phoned me a few days after the work was completed to go over everything that was done, making sure I was satisfied and making sure I understood my options where the main shutoff valve and the master bath tub/shower were concerned. I plan on using Jerome Plumbing for all my plumbing needs, and I have recommended them to my neighbors.

Reasonable quality and punctuality of service. Outrageous pricing. This company bills out their plumbers at $100 per hour and if the is a plumbers assistant then its $150 per hour. If you choose to use them get a full quote in advance.

They tried to replace our frost free faucets outside. It is discontinued and they fixed the handle the best they could without ripping it out of the basement and just replaced it outside, parts are not really available for this faucet. He replaced 4 faucets. They are neat, clean up after themselves, professional and they are family owned. They are just nice people. They did quality work. Communication was good.

<p>The work went well.  The job took two men about 90 minutes. Personnel were punctual and courteous and cleaned the work area upon completion.  Quality of the finished installation was excellent.</p> <p>An invoice was sent about three days after completion.  I asked for a cost estimate prior to the start of work, but they could not furnish one.  In spite of this, I permitted them to do the job, because I had used Steve Jerome Plumping before, and cost had been acceptable.   However an estimate would have been appreciated.  Ultimately, the invoiced amount was reasonable. </p> <br />

I was so impressed because it's like there's nothing that he can not do.  We asked him about our gas log fireplace, he worked on it and put in a switch for us to turn it on.  He did a lot of work for us.  The price was reasonable.

When I called and left a message, Steve returned my call within a reasonable amount of time. He was kind, professional and asked enough questions to understand the problem. He could not get someone out that day, but said he could get someone out the next day. His son did arrive within the time frame promised. I explained the problem, which he investigated thoroughly, and diagnosed a solution. The pricing was reasonable for the work and was within reason for a weekend emergency call. Both problem and recommended solution were discussed and explained. I would use company again. <br />

The price was extremely reasonable. The plumber who came did an excellent job. He focused on the job and worked not stop till the work was done. He cleaned up well. Even though he did not check up for any leaks, he asked me to wait a little bit before I could reload any vanities. There was not any leak either. He was very pleasant.

I have been using Jerome's for nearly 15 years and they never disappoint. They did all the plumbing for a new bathroom I had built in the basement, I purchased a new hot water tank from them plus numerous other fixes over the years. Highly recommended!

The guy who came out did a fine job. The price was very reasonable. He came out that day and took care of it on a day's notice which I thought was very nice; he actually came out on a few hour's notice. He was very professional. He also changed out something else which my wife described it to him. He knew what it was and he had the parts; so he fixed it. He went above and beyond to take care of it. There were no problems with the quality of the work.

I originally contacted Jerome Plumbing to complete the instation of new kitchen faucet based on a good experience a friend had with this company. They did excellent work! It was a bit more expensive than the estimates I looked at on the Internet but the plumber found some leaks in the drains and had to replace those as well. All in all, the price was not out of line. <br /> The home we have has well water which is extremely corrosive to the copper pipes and anything else in the water system. It was great to learn that Jerome Plumbing worked with someone who knows a great deal about wells, well water, etc. It seemed that the pressure switch needed to be replaced but so did the expansion tank and the surrounding copper pipes which had been leaking. Mr. Jerome had his well specialist come out and I was given a quote for two parts of the project. Mr. Jerome and I miscommunicated concerning what I wanted to be completed: I wanted the majoritiy of the work done but thought I could hold off on the second part. Mr. Jerome felt that he told me that both parts needed to be done, one couldn't be done without the other. So, the entire projejct was completed - very quickly and nicely with wonderful results. When the bill came, I was surpised that it was for the entire project so Mr. Jerome and I talked about it. No one got upset and it didn't turn into a and quot;he said, she saidand quot; situation. I came up with a compromise to pay for half of what I thought was the second part, the part that I thought didn't have to be done right away. Mr. Jerome accepted that. <br /> I will definitely work with Jerome Plumbing again. They are good, polite, provide excellent service. I think Mr. Jerome and I will agree that from now on a written, detailed quote is the first step. <br />
