MasterTech was amazing. Very professional. Always came when they said they would. Laid drop cloths and removed every bit of debris, every day they were there. Would definitely recommend this firm!

I had a great experience with MasterTech! They very quickly remediated my mold issues at a fair price and also included photos and a warranty. I hope never to need their services again, but I would definitely hire them again if I do! Highly recommend!

Everything happened exactly as it should (but unfortunately doesn’t always) go: they were punctual, bent over to work on our schedule, were all courteous and respectful, got the work done, and followed up with questions as well as the required remediation certificates. Couldn’t be happier with the result and also our decision to spend what was admittedly a large sum of money. He basement is cleaned out, we have our humidifiers all working as per Leonard’s advice, and we feel good with the peace of mind.

It went very well. Leonard W. came out and assessed the problem and came back with his crew of workers to clean up the Basement, remediate as needed and to perform air testing. They were dedicated workers and very friendly/professional. He was happy to answer quetions and he offerred alot of helpful advice and gave us peace of mind with our Basement along with his service guarantee.

Lenny and his crew were so professional and got the job done in less than a week. They took a pre and post test of the mold in our crawl space and even vaccumed the other areas in the basement to make sure the entire space was clean when they left, not just the crawl space where they worked on. We are now mold free and have a new storage space. I would not think twice about hiring them again.

Leonard wore booties when he came to evaluate job and took mold sample. He had the results in a couple of days and he and teo workers returned the next week to do the remediation. They covered the floors to the exit and kept house clean. Made containment barrier while they worked and removed all debris. It cost the same amount as the written estimate, and took the expected 2 days. They swept before they left. Since I could still smell the bleach, they let the vacuum run an additional 12 hours. They recommended a dehumidifier and a website to order it on-line.

Wow. What a great experience with this company. My wife and I bought a circa-1888 Victorian in Chestnut Hill five years ago and did an extensive renovation. Little did we know that, for decades probably, water had been leaking behind a section of wall in our third floor master bedroom and dripping down to our second floor office. We started noticing subtle signs of damage, opened the wall, felt moisture, and smelled mold. We first had the source of the roof leak fixed. Then, per the good reviews on Angie's List, we called Mastertech. Mr. Leonard Wendowski came out, used a moisture meter to determine the extent of the damage and did a pre-service mold test, the results of which showed high levels of mold. Leonard carefully explained what his company would do to remediate the issue. Although my wife and I were horrified about having to take off two walls in our fully-decorated house, Leonard's obvious technical knowledge and his professional manner put us at ease. On the day of the work, the team arrived on time, covered the wood floor, carefully erected an excellent plastic barrier sealing off the affected sections of the rooms, and as neatly-as-humanly-possible performed the removal of the walls, carefully avoiding damage to our trim and electrical. Leonard's team were the nicest guys around, and I felt completely comfortable having them in my house. Jarrod was the certified mold remediation specialist and Tony is the certified technician who set up the powerful dehumidification and negative air machines. Although all the accessible mold-covered sections were remediated directly, they explained to me that as mold dries it goes in search of moisture by shooting out spores. So while the dehumidification was going on, the powerful pull of the negative air system effectively pulled all the mold spores through a filter and out the window. They kept these big machines going for 24-48 hours per protocol and then came out again to test the moisture. After the areas were sufficiently dry, they carefully removed all the machines without a bit of damage to our stairway walls or handrails. Post-service testing showed only normal, natural, minimal amounts of mold remaining. My wife and I could not have asked for a better experience, and we therefore highly, highly recommend this excellent company. <br />

Great! He took the time to check it out and explained that it wasn't mold at all - but a stain. (We later had this confirmed by others too). The first guy had used scare tactics to try to get a lot of business. Lenny told us exactly ( consumer's comments were continued on the back side of the form and are not visible on the PDF)

He showed up the same day I called to give me an estimate, and was very thorough in diagnosing the full problem. We definitely did have a black mold issue along our shower basin, but because of the small size (thankfully it hadn't spread too much...), he recommended us fixing it ourselves. He gave us an estimate, but was completely honest and knew it wasn't worth his company to clean it up. We could do it just fine. He gave us detailed info on exactly how to work in the area and how to create a negative vacuum space for our own health and safety. If the problem was bigger, we would have definitely hired them. <br />

Lenny and his crew did a great job removing the mold and insulation in my attic. My attic is a really tight space and they finished the work as scheduled. I did have them come back twice to go over some areas I had concerns with, but they did so without hesitation. I would definitely use them again in the future or recommend them to anyone. <br />

I've done dozens of remodeling jobs over the years, and without a doubt, Lenny and his team were the most conscientious, professional and genuinely nice contractors we've ever had in our home. Meticulous doesn't even begin to describe their work! The carpet padding was glued down to the original tile floor, and they worked extra hard to ensure all the glue and fibers were removed. They arrived when they said they would, wore booties in the house to prevent contaminating our upstairs floors, and left the basement very clean and clear of debris. I wish Lenny did other kinds of work because I would hire him for so many of the other things we need to do in our historic "money pit." A great guy with a delightful sense of humor and high customer service orientation. Thank you Lenny - you're the best! <br />

Len was on time, personable, very knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection. He spent a few hours at our home doing the inspection. He talked with us at length, answering all our questions, including when we should expect to learn the testing results. Len gave us some recommendations about steps we could take to address high moisture areas he found upon inspection. <br /> As promised, Len sent us the test results and some remediation recommendations. We decided to do some of the tasks he recommended before undertaking professional remediation. There was no "hard sell," dire warnings or push. We will return to Mastertech if our own efforts are unsuccessful. We recommend Mastertech.

If you have a mold problem, you HAVE to go with a mold remediation service and I'm really glad I decided to call MasterTech. I met with representatives from two other professional-seeming companies and not only were they disrespectful, they didn't even bother to follow-up! Lenny was friendly, listened to me, didn't treat me like an idiot for asking questions, didn't try to push additional services on me, and was very prompt in scheduling and completion. His two other guys who did all the messy work were also great. Lenny could've tried to sell me a $1000+ dehumidifier plus installation like another company did, but his honest recommendation was just to use an old piece of garden house and attach it to my sump pump. After they finished the work, they cleaned up the space really well - something I'm not used to with other service providers. They even put my drum kit back together! All their work includes a 5 year warranty that the treated areas remain mold free. I got the friendliness of a small family business with the professionalism of a larger established company. Highly recommended. <br />

I contacted Lenny since I was concerned about mold growth due to a slow leak from the outside in the bedroom we were planning to renovate for my toddler. He inspected the area and gave us suggestions on how to clean up since it was only a very small amount that didn't require full remediation. He also checked out a spot in our basement and again it was only a tiny amount. I was very happy to hear this and it gave us a peace of mind with 2 small children in the house. I had contacted other mold companies prior to Lenny and they refused to even come out and look at the areas since they require a minimum space of 10 x 10. Lenny was very responsive and replied to my initial message that night and came to our house the following afternoon. If we ever have mold issues, I know that I will contact his company! <br />
