Job well done ceiling looks amazing! Communication was on point! There delays with project completion but offered to refund unfinished work! I opted to wait for a carpenter to be hired to complete work! Lamont stayed on top of job until completion!

I actually wanted the piece of wall replaced but he put spackle on it and wanted to sand down and paint for $750 absolutely not then he didn?t put any plastic down to do work I won?t be using Angi again so I gave him $300 to do what he did I?m not paying $750 for that sorry no thanks it?s no point

Mont Finishing Touches were very professional from communicating about the job to finishing it. I had a roof leak that caused damage to the ceiling and wall in 2 rooms and they DID WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE at a reasonable price. I would recommend them.

Excellent customer service and quality of work. I had an incredibly messy and difficult plaster ceiling that needed removal and replacement with drywall and paint. Had a gab between ceiling walls due to the layers of plaster placed on ceiling. Lamont and his team filled in these gaps seamlessly with the drywall. Impressive work and beautiful outcome. Highly recommend Monty Finishing, particularly for older homes needing plaster ceilings replaced with drywall.

Lamont is a total professional. He was extremely responsive to my initial outreach, communicated clearly throughout the project and always listened to and addressed the questions/comments I had. With drywall it’s hard to see the bigger picture sometimes at the beginning of the project, but Lamont assured me that the drywall would end up looking perfect and it did. I would highly recommend hiring Lamont for your next drywall project. His prices are reasonable and his work is excellent.

Update review: It went well at first. Drywall looks nice. Some cons: they didn’t put plastic on the floor to protect my rugs even though I asked twice. And they didn’t clean up. They were suppose to come back and pick up the left over drywall and never did. And the city does not pick up so I have to figure out how to dispose of it. Will make sure to hire someone more professional next time.

"This isn’t true, I have screenshot that shows that I came and picked up the garbage that was outside. You told me it was some still upstairs. The day I was suppose to come you said “Hi I had to leave the house so can you pick up the rest of the drywall Next week.” The following week came you said “ Hey Lamont. You can come by tomorrow or Friday if you can. In the late afternoon.” That was on a Wednesday. I then text you Friday for a time to come, you then said “ Actually I’ve been home all day sick. Anytime this weekend is good.” But yet you don’t see how this is something you started to stir up as I told you I was very busy. Ok no problem. Now let’s speak about the carpet I asked you in person would you like me to vacuum, you said no because we was leaving and coming back the next day so we can just do it when it’s all done, yes I forgot to ask before our finale day but let’s not make it seem as if your carpet was damaged, it had some light spots from sanding, I repeat light. When you write a review please be as honest as possible as other customers look at this before hiring me. Lastly you gave me a three when it came to responsiveness when I have never made you wait for a call back from me. Text may be a little different and that’s because I work early morning and I communicated that with you I can’t believe you would do something like that and even then I’ve messaged you back within the same day at least within 5 hours of the text you sent. But thanks anyway."
