He can be pretty busy, so you might have to wait a week or two, but the wait is well worth it. He doesn't overbook, so he comes when he says he will. He has done much work both when I was living in the house and after I moved 350 miles away and put it up for sale. I simply gave him the keycode for the house and let him do his thing. He phoned photos of what needed fixing, and "after" photos. At first I asked for estimates, and after hiring him several times, simply gave him the go-ahead and his billing was more than fair. I once overpaid him by paying an invoice twice, and he tore up a $900 dollar check and texted me to let me know. THAT'S HOW HONEST HE IS! I've bought faucets and lighting fixtures online and had them delivered to him (because my house was vacant) and he installed them for me rather than insisting on buying them himself (as most contractors would) and passing a markup along to me. He also recommends others for work he doesn't care to do or doesn't have time to do. He will also tell you what doesn't need replacing but can be repaired at less cost. I cannot possibly write a recommendation for him that is as strong as he deserves! In sum, he does excellent work, is on time, reasonably priced, has the integrity of the Pope, is honest to a fault, and can be trusted with the keys to your kingdom.

Some pipes burst in the basement and he repaired the pipes. He was very professional, clean, prompt, and fair. I plan on using him in the future.

We can't say enough positive about Denis' broad range of skills, dedication to quality, flexibility in the face of "surprises." The job became more involved the deeper he delved into it, but no obstacle was insurmountable. The job was time and materials and took more of both than we (and he) expected, but the cost and the result were closely matched. He is much more than a "handyman." He is a virtuoso. He's done other small jobs for us in the past, none too small for him to take on or to relax his commitment to quality.

Denis did a great job, was professional, charged a reasonable amount for the work done, and was pleasant. We will definitely call him again in the future.

He was friendly and punctual, identifying fix needed and scheduling repair, even fixing screendoor which I hadn't noticed was misaligned too. Door works great now.

He was very helpful and thorough in showing me how to fix the garbage disposal. He went through and explained how to keep the disposal clean so I could avoid the problem in the future. He found the problem to be a tiny piece of aquarium rock. He even drew me a diagram of how the garbage disposal worked. I definitely learned a lot! He also repaired a banister for me by tightening up the bolts on one end. He also fixed my front door. He showed me that my top hinge was broken. He ended up putting in a new hinge. We are now able to close and open the doors without making a huge racket. There were some issues that he recommended I purchase the materials for instead of him to save money. I also will be needing a two doorbells, a carbon monoxide alarm, and my address numbers replaced. He assured me that I would be saving money in the long run by going shopping myself for the items I need and using him to install them. I plan on calling him back as soon as I get these items because I trust he will do an exceptional job for a very reasonable price.

The hinges on the door were replaced by a repair service that I have used in the past for work with no problem.  I was told after he worked on the door that the house was probably settling & I would need a carpenter to plane the doors so they would close together properly.  I found Dennis Mullaney Home Repair through Angie's list. He explained to me that the house was not settling & how to tell if that had been the problem. He explained to me that the hinges although the exact type of hinges were being used, after so many years, the thickness of the metal in the new hinges plus using the same drilled holes from the old hinges  was making the problem.  Bottom line-----He fixed my cafe doors!! They swing back and forth effortlessly.  Wonderful Home Repair Service. <br />

Denis spends as much time as the job takes, and makes sure everything is completed and correct. It took a while to get the window made for the garage (the original one had rotted out), but once it was in, Denis came over an installed it as part of a long afternoon's work here, indoors and out. He came a second time to finish other jobs, including installing seat cushions. He is so skilled at so many kinds of jobs that he's our go-to person. <br />

Denis was punctual with our meeting to discuss the work and when he came to perform the work. He used the materials that I had chosen for the job and paid close attention to detail. I was very happy with the results. He cleaned up the area after his work and was very kind and friendly throughout the process. Couldn't ask for better. Very professional - on time and listened carefully to what we needed (which isn't always what we want). The work was done carefully and we love the results. We had asked if he could weatherproof some windows. He could have gone through the motions, shoved some things in there and charged us. Instead, he said he couldn't do it, and suggested other vendors/options that might handle the problem. My only regret is that I didn't submit this review sooner. <br />

Denis was friendly, professional, and efficient. He came to quote the job and was at or less than other estimates, and provided exactly what we were hoping for, nearly exactly at the quote. He took his shoes off at the doorway and wore indoor shoes, which was appreciated. He paid close attention to detail, putting trim around the access panel that worked great for the room. After he finished, he helped find a water shutoff valve in the basement for no charge, which was a much appreciated help and was truly professional. <br />

Denis did wonderful work repairing my grandmother's bed. He's professional, courteous, efficient and a pleasure to work with. <br />

Denis replaced 4 drip ledges and 3 window sills. He did excellent work.he is a true craftsman and i will definitely use him again. <br />

I'd put too many melon rinds down the sink and the disposal completely jammed. I called Dennis and he he told me about the red button underneath the disposal that resets the power. I feel foolish for not knowing this before, but I was so relieved! He will be the first repairman I call when we really need it! <br /> <br />

<p>He did a very good job painting. He taped off all the molding, removed the rings around the recessed lights, and was very careful. The grout along the junction of the countertops and the backsplash was deteriorating and he carefully taped and caulked it so it came out looking very precise. </p> <p>He was very professional, and worked very diligently all day. <p>I saw the rating for Mullaney Home Repair on Angie's List.  I was looking for a handyman to do the repairs listed above.  Denis showed up promptly to take a look at the work I needed done, and disassembled the faucet in the small bathroom so I could get a replacement cartridge  I was able to find a cartridge (after much searching) and completed that re[air myself once I got the cartridge delivered.  The sink replacement went very smoothly.  Denis was on time, very professional, and left the work area spotless.  I would definitely recommend him to other Angie's List members.</p> <br />

Denis Mullaney is as meticulous as I would be if I were doing the work myself, and that is saying a lot (if I may say so, myself !). He is honest about what he can and cannot do, but as a handyman, he seems quite capable to do everything I have needed him to do so far (moved electrical outlets, patched drywall holes, installed cabinets on uneven walls/floors in my old Cleveland Heights home). He will be re-installing baseboard and chair rail molding, and hooking up a water line to my fridge - I anticipate the same level of expertise. Denis was willing to work on a time and materials basis, whereas most of the other handyman services were not willing to do so (they insisted on bidding the whole job at one single price, which I do NOT like at all). While it has not been a problem, Denis arrived later than he said he would more than once, so I felt obliged to give him a B grade on punctuality, but I would have used B+ or A- if they were available. Life happens, and he has a very good work ethic, so I will definitely use his services for other projects, with no hesitation. <br />
