Excellent work on remodeling my yard. Included eliminating 2 trees, hedges and rose bushes. Installed beige gravel on the ground, brick walk ways, and large flower bed. My yard is now beautiful!

My wife and I needed our bathroom updated since it hadn’t been worked on since the 70s. I did some of the demo myself and Steve did the remaining demo and rebuilt the bathroom which included moving the shower and changing a linen closet into a laundry closet. While he was working on the bathroom, I was working on other parts of the house. Steve did an amazing job with our bathroom. He is detail oriented, has a professional demeanor, and is fair when it comes to pricing. An added bonus was that he gave me advice when I asked questions about other projects around the house. He also let me use his tools. The overall project took about 2 months which included his help on a few other side projects around the house. I felt like our bathroom was in good hands throughout the whole process and the final outcome looks better than my wife and I imagined. I would certainly recommend him to take care of any of your remodeling needs. I’m planning on using him for our other bathroom when we’re ready for that.

It went very well Two men came who were very nice friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They did an excellent job of painting my step, rails, wooden bilco doors, and one side of patio. When they were finished everything was left in pristine condition. Will use The Neighborhood Handyman from Mt Laurel again and recommend him.

Steve is a good guy and provided service in a timely fashion. I reached out to him via angies list and he called me back a day later and then came over and gave a estimate on that day (Saturday). The work was completed the following week and he did a great job. He showed up when he said he was going to and finished the work when he said it was going to be completed. He also emailed me pictures of the work and the final result. He was responsive to both text messages and phone calls. I would/will be using him again in the future.

My tenant had a leaky faucet and the first plumber we called said that he couldn't do the work because he would need to knock through some drywall to get to the leak. I found Steve on Angie's List and gave him a call to see if he could take care of it. He came out the next morning to take a look and said that he could easily fix the leak directly without needing to go through the drywall. He came by the following morning and fixed the leak. I am so grateful for Steve's quick response and his excellent work. I will definitely call him again.

The bedroom was in bad shape, and we needed it done quickly, as our daughter and her husband were visiting in less than a week's time. Steve did an outstanding job in our short time frame. He also completed some minor repairs around the house. I found Steve to be professional and dependable. I plan to use his services again in the near future.

Steve, was prompt, professional, and completed the jobs. No issues with the work. With it being so hard to find handymen willing to take on small jobs, and not totally over-charge you, I think the price was fair. I would definitely recommend and hire Steve again.

My 100-year-old home has been only lightly renovated and retains most of the original plaster and woodwork. Steve provided a reasonable quote, with the caveat that the whole thing depended on what he found when he opened up the ceiling...and that turned out to be not much to work with. Steve ended up putting in a full afternoon of work, which included creating a safe attachment point for the fan box, and he did it largely with spare materials he had on hand, helping to keep the cost down. I'm very happy with the work.

<p>The drywall in the ceiling was breaking loose. I called Steve to examine the ceiling and he told me he would have to open the ceiling up to determine what had to be done. He removed the entire ceiling and found it overfilled with blown-in insulation. An additional six contractor bags of insulation were found sitting on the ceiling joists, adding approximately 400-500 pounds of extra weight. In addition, there weren't enough fasteners holding the drywall in place. Steve reframed wood and corrected everything to make that ceiling strong. He called me over to inspect his work before he put the drywall back in place. He did a wonderful job of putting in new insulation. I was so impressed with his work. I was desperate to find someone who could do the work right away and he came through for me. Steve's work is top notch and I recommend him highly.</p> <br />

A terrible experience. Steve did not respond to our requests to schedule a second day to finish the simple job he started... but he did send a string of erratic requests demanding payment. We paid him for the partial work so we can move on. We should have trusted our instincts during the estimate. <br />
