We financed a home improvement job with Unique Home Solutions (UHS) through their bank, Time Investment Company, in October 2020 to install fascia/soffit and siding, five to seven weeks from that time. The start date landed in the first week of January and they finished on 6/8/2021. We cannot recommend either UHS or their lender because of the inconsistency of their workmanship and their insider relationship between the lender and UHS. We are also dissatisfied with their work ethic and lack of communication during installation, both contradict their claim of excellence. Request to only work with Jerry, as he is the only competent installer who left our house looking as it should have been all along - a top-notch siding installation. Otherwise, be prepared to keep tabs on their progress and address concerns as they arise; basically, have a running knowledge of what a proper siding job looks like and hold them accountable. Expect to clean up after they are done and double-check that they pull a permit with the city you live in. Bottom line: the install we initially received was inferior to what we had paid for and made them stop until they agreed to fix it, going all the way up to the owner. Had we not reviewed their work and only blindly trusted this company to complete the job as expected, we would have been a victim of a bait and switch scam; we would have been sold a top-quality siding installation but were given a quick-job installation in an attempt to make a huge profit at our expense. Rather than discount their services, they installed new gutters and made the corrections.

We went with them even though they charge premium prices partially because they promised to have the shower functional at the end of the second day of work. At the end of the second day they left for the day without telling us the shower is not yet functional; and when we complained, they said that they never have it functional in two days. Furthermore, we ended up with a mediocre paint job in the bathroom. The walls were not skim coated before priming and painting to cover the "evidence" from tearing down the wallpaper. When asked, why they skipped this logical step, the answers project team leader and the customer relations/service office gave was: skim coating/prepping the wall for painting was not included in their paint job description – just tearing wallpaper and painting. Basically, it was our fault for not telling them how to do their job. Is not the knowledge and competence customers entrust experts when hiring to do their job professionally? Should I fear not getting my soup in a restaurant because the waiter refuses to bring me the spoon simply because I did not specify my eating manners? For a professional home improvement company that considers itself the leader in the field, assuming customers' fault for not doing their job professionally is not and should not be an excuse. They never once recommended doing this – if it was an “extra” they should have tried to upsell us, not just skip-the-step that obviously needed to be done. As far as we can tell, the rest of the bathroom remodeling job was done well, though the unprofessional paint job makes us nervous about what we can’t see, as well as their dishonesty in explicitly promising a two-day shower install that they were unable to deliver.

They were able to get to me earlier than I thought and worked steadily each day until complete. Their work was very good and they were professional at all times and very courteous. They cleaned up any mess every evening before leaving. Once done I was very pleased with both the quality of the product and the work performed. I would recommend checking this company out to anyone.

The sales representative gave us a complete picture of the materials, structure and cost of the windows. He took his time and made sure we fully understood what products were available so we felt comfortable with our decision. The installers arrived on time. They were courteous and professional. The quality, professionalism and work done with Unique Home Solutions was flawless! Absolutely EVERYONE I spoke with either by phone or in person was extremely friendly and sought to meet my needs in every manner. They went BEYOND their needed jobs to be certain that all was perfect and just as I imagined. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is in need of the work that Home Solutions is able to do. I got them from a TV commercial. I had huge icicles hanging down and when I called them they said that it was my fault. I called them after the icicles had melted but I had photos. When I called she told me why it was my fault and not their fault. She said that I needed better insulation in my attic. Where the icicles were coming down was off the porch and not by the attic. I think they have a bad policy because, they wouldn't even come out and look. The photos showed how they were hanging and where they were and what the problem was. They didn't live up to their promise, which was a lifetime guarantee. They wouldn't come and look. It doesn't do a lifetime guarantee if they refuse to come and look.

I got them from a TV commercial. I went with them because they have a lifetime guarantee. They put barriers on so that the leaves wouldn't fall into it. It took them two or three days, it wasn't long at all. The workers were normal, nice people. I got the brown ones so they would match the house so it would look normal. The debris still fell in and I had stuff growing in them. It looks good and they were fine. They wanted my business. At that time I had no complaints and I felt good about them.
