"Initial work a few years ago was great and service was timely and completed. 16 months ago, I reached out for repairs on a few areas and clean/reseal maintenance in certain areas. I expected the work to be done in 2018. When the weather turned colder in fall, I was told would have to be done following spring. I contacted paver savers approximately May. The work has yet to be done. I am loyal and want the same provider to complete the work. As a consumer and client, I expect that. I reach out almost weekly for estimated time of service. Initially in season, I was told the work would be done as soon as weather permitted. Given rain and weather I remained patient. However, the provider has not responded to email or text or phone messages over the last many weeks. I am disappointed. I will provide another review when and if the work is done but cannot currently recommend CT Paver Savers to prospective clients."

"We hired Brent again this time to replace the Brick and flashing around the Chimney liner from the roof up because we were having water seepage issues due to the age and wear of the existing brick.  I called Brent in early February to see if we could schedule something for mid spring since I knew winter would not be the best time to do the work for him.  He told me to call him in early March to schedule it so I put a note in my phone to remind me to call him in early March.  Only I didn't have to.  He called me at the end of February and said he had been thinking about my roof every time it rained and wanted to take care of it sooner rather than later.  He said that the weather was going to cooperate for mortar setting the next day and he could get it done.  I told him absolutely do it and I greatly apprecieated him getting right out and taking care of especially knowing how busy he is.  While he was here I had inquired to him about placing a chimney trap in the basement as there was never one installed.  I didn't expect him to do it now but at some point in the future.  He said why don't I just do it now while I am here and I should sweep the chimney as long as I'm going to do that as well.  He only asked for an extra $150 to do both of these things.  That included the cost of the cast iron trap.  I'm so glad he did because the stuff he took out of there was crazy.  I realized that I have been paying a local Oil/Furnace repair company a lot of money every year to clean out my furnace and chimney area only to find out that they have barely been cleaning anything.  Needless to say I will be switching providers.  Anyways Brent is the owner and performs all the work himself he shows up when he says he will and does what he says he will and is extremely reasonably priced.  I will continue to reccomend him to anybody looking for any kind of chimney work or any masonry work for that matter.  Our chimney came out great and now I don't have to go up in the attic every time it rains to see how much water was coming in."

So much more appealing and functional than what was originally there. "I had initially tried to contact Hyde Park Landscape to inquire about some repair work I need to have done on my water garden. It isn't a huge job, but it is one that requires someone who knows what they're doing. I have since gotten some other estimates that put the job at $250-500 depending upon the hours involved. <br /> The first message was sent through Angie's List. The company seemed to have some good reviews, and they are pretty close by, so it appeared to be a good match for the job. I waited a few days and heard nothing back from them, so I called them on the phone. I got no answer, so I left a message explaining what the job was about and what I needed from them. Again I got no response. I tried one final time to reach them through Angie's List. <br /> It has now been 10 days since my last attempt and no one has ever contacted me. <br /> It really is a shame when a company treats potential customers this way. I have other plans for my property - some that would involve repair/maintenance (stone walls, terracing, steps, etc.) and some that would require a more significant investment (design and build a deck). Regardless of the size or cost of a job, I wouldn't want to be dealing with a company that can't be bothered to offer the simple courtesy of returning a telephone call or responding to an email message. <br /> <br /> 7/9/14 <br /> While it took them nearly three weeks to reply to my messages, they offered some explanation for the delay when they responded. I would like to believe that they were genuinely having trouble accessing the information and would not want to assess them on the single experience. I put a lot of stock in the ratings that are given on Angie's List, and this company has done fairly well from what I've seen of their reviews. That being said, I would consider giving them another try if a suitable job were to come up in the future."

"Jason and team helped us out after a leaky toilet damaged some drywall below. They were great to work with, receptive to changes and did a wonderful job. We were looking for quality and feel that we got what we paid for. We plan to use them again for future projects."

"My review covers a bit more than just the 2015 spring/summer lawn mowing season. <br /> I have gotten quotes from them for fall leaf clean-up, tree work, and lawn fertilization, and find their prices to be on the high side. With these higher prices, one would expect excellence in the quality of the work as well as the professionalism of the company. I found both to be a bit lacking. My biggest complaint with the lawn mowing service is that the weed whacking (trimming) quality was awful. The kid they had doing it would zip around the yard without care and attention and burn the edge grass, till by mid-season it was dead. As the weeks went on, there was nothing left for him to trim as the grass in all the edge areas was dead. We discussed it to him as well as called the company about it on a couple occasions through the season and finally, by the end of the season, he began to put some care into his work, but it was too late for our grass. We will need to replant all the edge areas this spring. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"I had Dane come out and give us a quote for 3 projects; a walkway with pavers, adding small stone and steps to a firepit area and re-graveling the drive way. Due to budget, I had Dane do the walkway and firepit area last year and this year in April he came to re-gravel the driveway. The work he did on the first 2 projects I was excited and pleased with. He was a state engineer and I felt that he had good ideas and was very helpful. This year he came back to do the driveway which included expanding it 5', and adding new stone. He did quote me for regular stone and also the more expensive white marble chip stone, which I could not afford. However, we never spoke of what other driveway stone options there were or what i would be receiving. The contract was very vague saying typical gravel driveway stone and doesn't mention much about the excavation of the old gravel/weeds. The day the driveway was done I called him, because I felt the stones were too "loose" and not compacted enough. As I had mentioned in our initial meeting, we get a lot of weeds in it and I find it to be embarrassing so I wanted this taken care of. He assured me that they "compacted the heck" out of it and it would be fine. A couple weeks later I contacted him again because weeds were starting to spring up everywhere and I didn't think a newly re-done driveway should already have weeds showing in such quantity. He mentioned several times to just spray weed killer, but our well is close by and I do not want to harm pollinators like bees and butterflies with toxins. He said we discussed the type of stone he brought but we did not, and that too much time had gone by since our initial meeting to remember everything. I can understand that, but I know the weed concern was certainly mentioned. He did agree to send someone with a bit more rock for a fee ($100)which he did waved, but I still do not think enough of a base or rock was but down to prevent the weed situation. (I have pictures but will not let me add here) In the worst areas, I can remove a rock and see the dirt below, I do not see a base at all. The drive has very skimp areas and in the areas where there is less weeds, there is a much more noticeable thickness. They used a hand compacter on the driveway because the large ride on machine could not be used in my driveway due to size I was told but perhaps that would have helped compact it better. I really liked Dane in our first projects, I think he came across as someone who wants to give fair work at a fair price, but I can not give a good review on the driveway project, so I left 3 stars because of the good job on the first projects. It took me a long time to save enough money to get the driveway re-done and I just don't think it should look like it does after just 2/3 months. He was not present on the initial day of the driveway nor when more rock was brought to see the situation for himself, he just asked for pictures. Going forward I would look for a driveway business to fix the issue, but for walkways and patio he still does a good job."
