"The work went really well and the transformation to our home with the new siding and the new windows is unbelievable!!! Don and his crew were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and always had our best interest. Don always said "I am only happy if you are happy." Our 1961 home has had a beautiful renovation done to it and we give Don and his crew our highest recommendation and plan to use then again soon for interior work."

"Better Built Basements LLC renovated my basement this past summer, installing a full bathroom, bedroom (with egress window), office and finished common area. The project went very smoothly, with great communication and follow-up. Just about everything was done to spec and on the correct timeline. At the beginning of the project we were provided a schedule, and they met almost every milestone; the entire project was completed on time, including pulling the necessary permits and passing all town inspections. We had a few change orders during the project, and they were able to work them in and still complete the project within the original time frame. The communication was phenomenal. For each phase of the project we knew who was coming to the house when, who would be in charge if there was any issue, and who we could escalate to if there were concerns. I would highly recommend them for any project. Months later we are as thrilled with the basement as we were the day it was completed. Thanks so much to the team for our wonderful finished basement."

"The office people and the installers were very friendly. There were some minor delays. After installation, there were a couple areas that needed adjustment as there was leakage. They did fix those. I realize that having a metal roof is not all that compatible with these types of gutters. but, the most important thing was to avoid the clogging of leaves and other tree debris. At this very time (10/14/2020) I do see some imbedded leaves, but, will wait to see what happens. Hopefully, there will be no future problems. Right now, I can say I WOULD hire them again, but, we'll see."

"I have a 2 story 2000 sq ft home with attached garage. They showed up in the morning (as they said they would), removed the old shingles, replaced part of the wood underneath and flashing on the chimney, installed the new shingles, and cleaned up everything. All done in one day. Then entire process (requesting a quote and having the work done) took no more than 10 days. Very pleased. Would definitely recommend them."

"We were extremely pleased with the end result.  The job was finished on time and on budget.  Ed's a good guy that aims to please.  He went to great lengths to ensure the new roof line, windows, siding, and trim matched the original, exactly.  Looking at the house from the outside, you would never know that there had been a room addition.  The sub-contractors were conscientious, pleasant and unobtrusive.  And, they cleaned up after themselves every day.  Yes, there were a few glitches along the way, but Ed was there to smooth them out.  He's easy to talk with, so straightening out any misunderstanding is just a matter of having a rational discussion with him. <br />"

"We met with Kellie on December 1 and she anticipated a start date in late Jan. Would have been sooner except for the week or so shutdown at Wolfe cabinets for the holidays. Start day Jan 24. Of course we had snow/slush and at 6:25 am the power went out. Chris Pedersen arrives promptly - our road had not been plowed. Kellie arrives but had trouble with our unplowed road. Plumber arrives. Cabinets gone by the end of the day and upper subfloor removed (vinyl tiles need a flat surface). Jan 25 subfloor in by noon, cabinets had arrived by 11 am. I hired my neighbor Alex Hastillo (Hastillo Electric) for his attention to detail and knowledge of code requirements. Alex worked to pre-wire the kitchen for under cabinets lights and under sink outlet for dishwasher. Alex directed us to a lighting company in Norwich, CT - they were really helpful and we found the perfect lights for the kitchen. By the end of the work week - the cabinets were in as was the floor. Kellie on day one called the countertop folk to perform their laser survey of the kitchen - on Jan 31 with an install date of Feb. 9. Alas a blizzard caused a delay but the countertop was in the very next day thanks to Kellie. The project was completed on Feb 17 - 3 weeks and four days with no hiccups except for the weather. I think Kellie picked her best contractor Kris for the job. I would highly recommend Kris for a kitchen remodel - one of his favorite projects. Kris lives in Killingly. Problems - two cabinet doors with really minor damage being replaced. Warped door on pantry being replaced. One vinyl tile did not adhere properly - this was replaced. No problems since."
