"Hello! My mother was very frustrated with her new dryer not drying properly. She hired a dryer repair man who advised her the vent was clogged. She reached out to "The Dryer Vent Guy" who sent out a technician named STEVEN. HE WAS AMAZING!!!! From start to finish, he was thorough, knowledgeable and courteous. His work was neat and clean. He even wore protective shoe booties so my mom's clean floor would not get dirty from the snow. He also sucked up the huge amount of debris he was able to remove from the vent. "hired Chimney and Duct Experts based on their reviews on Google and Angis list to address a potential problem with a roof leak near my chimney. They quickly determined the flashing of my chimney was probably the reason for the leak, so they gave me a quote to rebuild the chimney flashing for $1300. They were able to do the work that same day, which I thought was great. However, the leak continued, so I moved on to roofers to help figure out the problem. I had 5 different roofing and repair companies come out, and each one said that the flashing on the chimney was terribly done, using a sealant instead of metal step flashing as is standard. I called back Chimney and Duct Experts and spoke with a supervisor. He agreed to come and redo the flashing, but insisted that fully rebuilding the flashing is only done when you get a new roof. Ended up being incorrectly done again, and I'll have to pay someone now to fix it correctly."
