"Ric was very prompt with arriving for the initial estimate.  I attempted to get several estimates before choosing the mason I would go with for this job and Ric quickly assessed the issue in my basement and provided the most realistic solution for me.  Each of the other mason that I contacted were not responsive or wanted to provide much more costly and unnecessary services.   <br /> When I contacted Ric to let him know that I wanted him to do the job, he gave me additional services for a discounted price and performed the work quickly and efficiently.  His work crew was very professional and courteous.  I will be completing this same process for the remaining parts of the foundation at some point in the future and I would not hesitate in calling this company again to complete the work.  I would highly recommend this company to others. <br />"

"They delayed there start by about a week, but I understood we had had a lot of rain in the last two weeks. They came with the trees I had ordered and were great about planting them where I showed them. They came with just 4 kinds of perennials (12 in all). The selection did not include a bleeding heart as I had requested, nor different colored foliage. I had discussed wanting to add color to my shady backyard garden - I am aware of the difficulty of doing that with shade and partial shade. We had discussed impatiens (which the chipmunks have eaten in the past) and had decided to try them again. Impatiens were not delivered. I sent back 7 of the perennials, getting a bleeding heart and impatiens the next day. To seed they put down topsoil (did not tamp it, even when I asked if the were going to) put seed on and raked it it. I was told I needed to keep it watered and wet for three weeks because there were different grass seeds that germinated at different times. I did. Much of the area near the driveway and on the yard has sunk down - one to two inches. <br /> I needed a larger job done, the tearing down of my stonewall near my basement and sliding glass doors, digging out a foot built up of dirt and the rebuilding of the stonewall flared so it did not go against the wood framing. I was told they could come that Friday for an estimate. No one came. 6 weeks later I got a call about setting up a time for an estimate. I declined. <br /> I will continue to use Faddegon's to buy trees and have them plant them. I will go and pick my own perennials and annuals and plant then myself. I will not use them for landscaping or stonework."

"The first week of work went well. The workers were very nice and seemed professional. They needed to leave the steps to the side entrance unfinished until the landscaper finished installing new walkways and shrubs. When the landscapers completed their project, Allied Construction came back and completed the project. The company made us a beautiful new side entrance and the quality of work was top notch. I would hire them again. The only criticism I have would be their not answering phone calls in a timely manner, having said that they still stand above many other contractors contacted. <br />"

"I had my  hedges clipped and fertilized as well as mulching. They were supposed to treat a few of the shrubs to spur growth. When I asked the guys (not the one quoting the job) who showed up to do the work about that they had no idea about how to do what was described to me.
