"<p>First they came and measured and asked questions and viewed the damage. Then they sent an estimate which was actually lower than we expected. Since this was a repair of someone else's work I did not think they would be too interested in doing this job. Their normal work includes commercial as well as residential and they were accustomed to doing large jobs. In comparison this was pretty small potatoes. They were as professional as if they were bidding on an entire roof. The crew that arrived were kind, professional and cleaned up their work space. I was very well pleased and would ask them back again if I needed them. I would also recommend them - residential or commercial. They are fully bonded, licensed & insured. "JACK AND MOSES INSTALLED NEW KITCHEN WINDOWS FOR ME AND THEY DID A GREAT JOB! "The service I received from Promax Construction was absolutely FANTASTIC! I had a rotted fascia board on the south side of the house that was in dire need of repair and Promax was the only company that I could find in Decatur who were actually willing to come out and get the job done. After calling to set up an appointment, John showed up exactly when scheduled, gave me an estimate and I agreed to it on the spot. His price was fair, so I signed the contract and he said he'd send out his guys as soon as he could. The Promax crew showed up roughly two weeks later and immediately got to work. The first crew of guys (sorry I didn't catch their names or I'd credit them here) pulled down the old board and cut and installed the new piece perfectly. It was exactly what I wanted. After that, John had Shane come out to do some finishing work on the roof and chimney and now everything looks fantastic! I am extremely GRATEFUL to Promax Construction for doing this job for me when nobody else would and the next time I need more work done on the house, I will definitely be calling Promax Construction FIRST. Thanks again to John, Shane and everyone else who helped with this project. I truly appreciate it!"

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"It went well. The estimate stated if unforeseen things came up he would contact me right away. Once he got up there to tear off the old shingles, he realized they were double layered so that changed the cost by about $800. It took him 2 days to complete the job. The only thing I noticed was one of my flower pots was broken but I can't honestly say that Dan or his crew broke it since I was not present for the work. They removed my solar lighting so they would not break any of them. They however left the steaks in the ground and I could not find them when it was time to replace the lighting. I will have to buy new steaks but that is a very minor issue and would not hold that against the great work they did."

"Mr. Wake suggested that I have an air conditioning unit installed in an upstairs bedroom to provide extra comfort to an otherwise too hot room in the summer time. He recommended an appropriate size of air conditioner, removed an existing window, built a frame for the unit and installed it. Additionally, he provided a description the work to be done to satisfy the requirements of the condominium association. His solution saved me a considerable amount of money. I recently contacted Mr. Wake for an estimate on a repair. He was knowledgeable and honest and provided some very helpful information regarding the work to be done. Mr. Wake is a stand up and talented guy. I would not hesitate to hire him again."
