"I had a large tree that had just gotten too big, was too close to the house and was starting to lean toward the house. I also had concerns that my air conditioning unit sat under the tree on that side of the house. I really didn’t want a bucket truck driving up in this location either. I was referred to Jimmy by a friend he had done some tree work for, so I gave him a call. He answered his phone right away and then came out to the house within a few days to give me a quote. Very reasonable – better than his competitors. Jimmy and his crew did an excellent job taking the tree down. They were very careful not to damage the house or anything else around the tree. They also trimmed up a large tree that had grown into the power lines that run up to our house. Jimmy also got up on the roof and blew all of the debris from the tree off the roof and cleaned out the gutters - an above and beyond service that I did not expect, but greatly appreciated. Once the tree was down. I requested that they leave the firewood for me – not a problem and they stacked it nicely. The rest of the debris was chipped up and hauled away. They used a leaf blower to totally clean up the yard and driveway and even blew the dust off of our vehicles. Jimmy was very courteous and very conscious of his customer, their property and their need. He and his crew did a great job. He is busy, so be aware that it may take a few days before he can schedule your job, but he will get it done and get it done right. He told me a week or two because the weather hadn’t been cooperating and it had set his schedule behind a bit, but as soon as the weather cleared, he was there – actually took less than a week. They arrived, did the job, cleaned up and were on their way. I would definitely recommend Jimmy’s Tree Service and do plan to use them in the future."

"Joe recommended and performed a major pruning and shaping of the tree. Initially I was shocked by how much was cut back. Now that I have had time to adjust, I agree with how much was cut back and think it's in great shape for next year. To have cut back any less would have been a waste of time. The work was performed while I was at work. Yard was cleaned up and all trimming carried away. Joe called the next day to confirm the work was to my satisfaction. Two neighbors saw his work on my tree and hired him to trim their trees too. I will be calling again next year to work on the trees in the backyard."

His quote was very reasonable and he was able to grind my stump down right then and before I could get my Venmo account setup! On that note, have your Venmo account (or cash) setup prior and know where your utilities are and Levi will have your stump ground to a nice mulch pile in no time. "I requested a quote to remove a pine tree and large overgrown wild tree/bush on a Monday and Dale was out the next day to provide a quote.  I got 4 quotes total and his was $45 less than others and since he has great reviews here on AL, I chose A Better Tree & Landscape.  When I called to schedule I was told Dale would call me within a few days to let me know when I could get on the schedule.  Sure enough, he did call and I got scheduled for the following Tuesday.  It was very rainy on Tuesday and he called to let me know because of the rain it would be Wednesday.  I completely understood and appreciated the phone call.  They came on Wed and while he was here I asked for a quote to remove several wild trees that were growing in our existing wood fence.  Since we are replacing our fence this month, I would need him to come back and take those trees down and grind the stumps.  He surprised me by saying he could do it while he was there since that fence was coming down anyway he could get the trees out and get to the stumps.  He gave me a very reasonable price for the additional work and I agreed.  Both guys worked very hard until the job was done.  I walked the property with Dale afterward and everything looked great.  They hauled away everything they cut down and filled in and raked where the holes were from stump grinding.  Other than our lack of trees, you would never even know they were here it was cleaned up so well.  I will be using them again for future needs and would highly recommend.
