"Dan is awesome! We bought a pool from a different contractor and long story short, he stole money from us and is in jail. Dan stepped up big time and volunteered to help us out and get our pool installed properly. He had a great sense of what was going on and constantly making sure everything was done properly and to code. He helped us out in a big way when we really needed it. I highly recommend hiring him for your pool, you will not regret it!"

"First, let me just say we are real customers. We live in Savannah, GA. and are getting a complete rear yard makeover that includes a 26 Ft. pool, spa and landscaping. Mr. Parker Coleman of Local Roots and his team are handling hardscape, pavers and excavating and leveling our rear yard. Unfortunately the builder didn’t do a good job. Parker leveled the yard personally and dropped a drain to help with proper drainage. Parker is a hands on owner operator who says what he does and does what he says. Parker is very reliable and honest. The employee that handles the majority of the hardscape and paver work is an artist. Very skillful paying strict attention to detail. Jeff and Trey are great too! I would recommend Local Roots to anyone needing yard design, hardscape and paver work and I’m presently looking around for other jobs they might do at our home. Cant say enough good things about them. Forever thankful."

Hello, my name is John Michael. I have been in the landscaping and various construction trades since I was old enough to carry a 2x4 stud, or carrying a plant to one of my family members, or learning what the various wrench's and sockets my father had in his tool boxes were used for.\nI could be found at work after school and on weekends and then on school holidays.Several different members of my family have(had) their own companies or were management which allowed me to start learning the do's and don't s of the various trades that I have learned. Through all these tasks over the years I have gained experience. My resume is available upon request for anyone that would like to see along with references.\nI started my first company in 1999, (and do to the geographical location I did not offer as many services as I do now. Besides, I would not have had time to do the work.)\nWhen I found out that my employer was taken advantage of several older women because they had never had to pay for these type of services to be done,he had charged an older woman almost three times of what it should have been. He had told me that she didn't know what the rates should be.The woman was my best friends grandmother. That following Monday I opened my landscaping and lawn care service.\n Please don't misunderstand me, i believe if a person gives an honest days labor they are entitled to a fair days pay, salary or other payment that had been predetermined.\n I take pride in my ability to find ways to save my clients as much money as possible.I do most of that by not giving up because of the level of difficulty of the tasks at hand.\nI do a lot of things the old fashion way, with axes, shovels, pick axes, and within reason removing stumps, transplanting trees and other various large plants. All these things are done by hand.

My name is Kent Vanattia, I am the sole owner of Arlis Home Services.\n\n What I'll tell you here, is how I came to choose this career path.\n\nI was born in Hillsboro, TN. My family owned a dairy farm. Grandpa had his own cattle but he and my Uncle also ran a "milk route". They picked up milk from other farms all over middle TN. We delivered it to a processing center along with our own milk.\n\nI learned to take care of the equipment on this farm not long after I could walk. Along the milk route, it soon became obvious to me, even as a young boy that proper maintenance sure saved a lot of time and trouble.\n\nThat lesson served me well throughout my life. As a very young man, I joined the service. I found it easy to fall into a structured routine, I grew up that way. Later as I learned various trades my attention to detail and regimented style of learning and doing made it easy for me to retain and reuse my new found knowledge. And today, as I comb over a cabin for signs of potential problems or I am building a deck or other project ... I find it's the lessons of my youth that keep me on track.\n\nI named my business Arlis, because it was my dad's name. He's not with me anymore and I miss him. My Dad never did anything half-way. So naming my business after him reminds me of the lessons he taught.

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Hinesville, GA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
