"I am an elementary school teacher. Every year I do an art project that requires river rocks. For the past few years I have been getting my rocks from Pioneer Sand. Today, I went to purchase the rocks. The very nice gentlemen said, "Do not worry about it. We would love to donate!" So kind. You made my day Pioneer Sand. I will be sure to pay if forward."

"I called all over town trying to find decking stain that would match my existing decking stain on a house I was trying to sell.  I had stained several times in the past, and did not want to completely strip and start over, and I had about 30% new boards on my deck and so a light/natural finish would not have looked quite right any way. <br /> After calling everyplace on this side of town I gave up and called the Big Tool Box (near my new house, but about an hour from my old house).  They had the exact stain I was looking for, and were willing to do a color match.   <br /> Big Tool Box did the match quickly:  he said it might be 4+ hours, but I had the stain by 11:00 the morning I dropped off the sample.  The salesman was very helpful providing tips on how to prepare the surface and things to watch out for.   <br /> I've been back since and it never fails to amaze me that such a little store (big for an Ace, small compared to say Home Depot)  has such a good selection of things compared to the big mega hardware stores. <br /> <br />"

"Swingle was very prompt getting someone out to analyze our lawn and tree. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the lawn mites at the time. They provided an estimate on what it would cost to treat both our lawn and tree next spring, to prevent further damage."
