Hello I have been ironworking for 13 years and been welding for 16 years(including the 13). 10 of those years i have been union. I have been working for big name companies such as Marr crane and rigging, Santini brothers iron works, E.D.M. construction, and tnt steel erectors. I have plenty of knowledge and plenty of skill to be able to work and get any job done. I worked on iron railings, fences, pipe, structural steel reinforcement, welding moments on steel beams. I can work within 100 miles from Boston. I will try to work with you if you are a bit out of my range. "I am a homeowner, and few weeks ago I knew nothing about steel beams or angle brackets or welding. During a kitchen renovation it was discovered that the best thing to do when removing one wall was to support an upper floor with a steel beam. I needed a certain beam along with brackets welded on each end. My contractor went to a place to get a quote and it took days to come back, and the quote was all screwed up when it did come back. I called and emailed several places and few even bothered getting back to me. Two places did get back to me and said they could get me the beam and the angle brackets I needed, but they didn't do welding, I would have to take them somewhere. Finally, I found Boston Welding. I called and got Linda who is the nicest person you'll talk to. She told me just what to do and I emailed in my drawing and exactly what I was looking to have made. Richard got right back to me and told me it would be two days and the price was the best of the bunch. After two days I called Linda again and she said it was ready. I went and picked it up and the people were just as great in person. They probably don't get a lot of minivans picking up steel beams, but they loaded it right in and away I went . Looks perfect and a great experience."

"We asked Amaral Industries to bid on a cable rail system for our newly constructed front steps.  Eduardo came to our house and discussed the design, and mentioned a concern that a cable rail system might not be appropriate for our stairs and landing.  His main concern was that the sharp angles and corners of the landing, as well as the point where the landing and stairs meet, would not be appropriate for a cable system.  But he agreed to investigate further.  At that time, Eduardo took very detailed measurements of our steps so that he could accurately recreate the stairs back in his shop.  This would allow him to build the railings and be sure that they would fit the stairs perfectly. <br /> Eduardo got back to us promptly, confirming his concern and recommending that we build a steel railing system instead of the cable system.  He showed us detailed designs and gave us a fixed bid for all of the work, including installation and consultation with building inspectors, if necessary.  We agreed to proceed with the project, and paid him a deposit to begin the project. <br /> We were extremely happy with the whole process, as well as the finished installation.  Throughout the process Eduardo or someone in the shop kept us informed of their progress.  When the railings were complete and the galvanizing process was finished, he scheduled the installation within days. <br /> The installation at our home occurred today (9/2/15).  There were lots of details, including drilling holes in the steps and landing. Eduardo and his crew were very thorough, detailed, and neat in their work.  They kept the whole area clean, and were respectful of the landscaping surrounding the stairs and landing.  The holes drilled in our bluestone were very neat, and they did not scratch the surface of any of our steps or landing.  They protected other surfaces with cardboard to avoid any damage during installation. <br /> My wife and I are extremely happy with their work and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future, or to recommend them to others. <br />"
