"I engaged Turf Doctor to reseed a portion of my lawn and perform services to suppress weeds and nurture growth of my lawn which, under my un-expert care, was suffering. "As I said, the day of the storm they were flooded with calls, but they sent a crew to cut a huge limb that would possibly hit the house if the wind rolled the big tree it was on.The next day, the crew was there all day. There were: several men, along with with a cherrypicker truck, a big chipping truck and another big dump truck.They worked steadily and professionally. The bucked-up sections of the trees were HUGE. They threw them and the bucked-up limbs into the 10-wheeler, completely filling it. They then drove the load 8 miles to a friend's house and dumped it for her to use a firewood The rest was chipped. They dumped the chips on the edge of the yard for me to use as mulch.. The pile was about 6 feet high!They cleaned up every speck of branches, chips and debris, leaving our lawn completely clean (and newly sunny, because the trees were gone.). I was very impressed. <br /> Even though they were expensive, I believe we got value for our money....hence the and quot;Aand quot; rating. I only gave them a and quot;Cand quot; for price because I wish we could get this kind of skillful work cheaper. But, you get what you pay for!"

I called to change to the basic package. It was easy to contact them. They leave me a voicemail when they are coming to ensure there is access to the lawn. They are unobtrusive and do the work."

"We started using Davey to treat our yard when we moved in late in the Summer of 2013. When we bought our house, the lawn was untreated and there were various trees and shrubs that looked to be in distress and overgrown.  <br /> We contacted the Davey Tree COmpany to give us an estimate on lawn treatments that would cure our weed and insect (crane fly) problems and also to give us some advise on our trees. The folks at Davey gave us a comprehensive report of what weeds were infesting our lawn and also advised on how to best deal with our trees. It turned out that the trees were healthy and only needed a little trimming TLC and they would be able to start us on a program to kill the weeds and deal with the crane flies and their larvae.  <br /> This summer, our lawn is coming in beautifully with nary a weed in sight. After trimming back our trees, they look healthy and are doing well. We are very pleased with the service that Davey provided and would recommend them to anyone looking to spruce up their curb appeal. <br />"
