She listened to what we thought we wanted and helped us find the right solution. No other sales rep we met with offered that customer service. She also followed up on time and was super easy to work with once we decided on specific doors. Installation also was on time, efficient and went very smoothly. We had one issue that arose b/c of the age of our house and Stoneberger addressed it quickly and beyond fairly. Highly recommend them."

"It was easy making an appointment. The office staff was helpful and I had a choice of days and times. Appointments are set for a 2-hour window and the technician called one-half hour before arriving.
Part of the work was covered by a local online coupon and part was a repair. The technician, David, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and competent at the job and was a pleasure to work with. I didn't know how he would solve the problem of the bracket, which was installed by another company. The replacement looks like it will last as longer than my house lol. The price charged was reasonable, and the work was done quickly and clean-up was perfect.
Needless to say, I will use ABC for any garage door work in the future.

"It finally came time for us to replace two old wooden garage doors. First I did some research on garage doors in general. Lots of info on the Internet. Then I did extensive research on quality garage door contractors in my area. Used Yelp and other sources. Came up with a list of five quality candidates and sent details to each for bids. Eliminated 3 in relatively short order for various reasons. Came down to two candidates for the same two door options (either a Clopay or a CHI) -- Academy and another contractor. I focused on all decisioning points -- service, price, features, warranty, etc. Both were very close on price so that was not a discriminating factor. However, all the other factors came out very much in favor of Academy. Our sales contact, Dave McLaughlin was superb. Knowledgeable, responsive, helpful. The two managers at HQ -- John and Alan -- also very professional and responsive. So I did the order with Academy and selected the Clopay doors. Doors arrived in the time period they said. Scheduled the install. Jim and Coach (two HUGE guys!) showed up and did the install. They were even able to deal with the fact that my floor was off level just a shade. Made the doors fit well. Thanks guys! So far so good! Love the new doors! SO much better than the old ones in every way. Now I have to fix up my house b/c the garage doors are now the best part!"

He explained what he would do, then proceeded to inspect the attic and roof, making some repairs to the roof as necessary. When completed, we sat down to review pictures and discuss options. "Their was a slight hiccup in the pricing and after my check was cashed, Tom the owner called me saying he wanted to cancel the order and give me my 1/3 deposit back of $1,800.  I was devastated because I already had a previous door installed improperly and that had failed in less then one year. This was extremely traumatic after several weeks and a cashed check to hear that the owner wanted to cancel my order.  To make a long story short he thought about it....he called me back and decided to move forward with the order. The installation went flawlessly.  Very professional crew, love my new door.  Comes with excellent warranty.  My advice stay as far away from fiberglass as you can!!! Way too much flex in the door.  I did steel door  with wood grain look painted black at the factory.. Just remember "the cheap becomes expensive". Steel is the only and best way to go and slightly less expensive then fiberglass.  The most important aspect of door and window replacement for that matter is the installation! The people that install for Hammer and Nail only work for them. Even if I could find cheaper its not worth it. Installation is and should be your number one concern.  If you want reliability, honesty and integrity you must choose HAMMER and NAIL.
