"Fairly priced, performed on time and with great skill. The Merrifield team has done three significant engagement at our church. On the first, they repainted several very large windows that had suffered water damage and repainted a wall section that had problems. No one in the congregation can tell which windows and wall were painted and which were not. On the second, they dealt with a room with three or four different colors of paint and plaster damaged by removing built-in shelves and cabinet. The result is like new. The last job asked them to deal with damaged trim and walls that had not been panted in years. We needed stop part way down a long hallway. They were able to match colors and feather the transition so as to produce a nearly invisible transition. The plaster in this area has a sandy texture. There repairs to some fairly large areas that look very good. We are already working on a fourth set of problems for Jeff's team to solve. Members who were previously strong advocates for DIY painting have become supporters of finding the funds to hire Merrifield because they can see the real difference it makes."

We have used Klappenberger & Sons for years to do painting, staining and small repairs to stained or painted surfaces. Most of the work they have done has been on the outside of the house but we did have some inside work done in 2009. We first used them in 2003.

We will continue to use them because of the quality of their work and they will correct any problems that occur without delay. At this point we consider them friends, not just painters.

"The overall job went well. The (reasonable) estimate was performed weeks in advance of work. The work required 2 days. Scheduling was agreed on, & Manny confirmed a few days before the job. Manny power washed himself, but had a co-assistant on the paint project. Communications, punctuality, and work progress was very good. The finished job met my expectations. I only wish extra paint could’ve been left for touchups; but Manny did provide me with purchase info having brand/color of sealant used. A 3 yr warranty was also provided with receipt so that’s awesome. I’ve even obtained another estimate for possible painting of my siding."

"This is the second time I used Shalom Home Solutions for a painting job, after they did a good job on my rental. This job involves a four bedroom single family house with a finished basement, totaling 5166 sqft. The painting includes all interior surface and baseboards, with minor drywall repair and caulking. Amilcar and his crew did a very good job. They arrived early everyday around 7 a.m. and leave around 4 p.m. The cherry hardwood floors were covered with drop cloth and the railings were covered with plastic sheets. Some elaborate window treatment had to be taken down and put back. The house was cleaned up after the job was done. There was no damage in the process. It was completed on time. Amilcar was very communicative throughout the process, responding to my text message and email quickly. The only minor negative is when he brought in a few newer painters one day and their work was a bit rushed (not taping up the cherry shoe molding). Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the work."

"Very well. Robert explained the work they would do and he coordinated tile, plumbing and countertop replacement. We had an early 80's kitchen that needed help but we didn't want a major renovation. They updated our cabinets with new, larger doors, painted the frames, added soft-close hinges, and constructed a new cabinet to replace a built-in desk. New backsplash, granite countertops, and hardware. Their work was a superb value and we're pleased with our new "bright" kitchen!"
