"I had an electrical outlet installed on my brick fireplace so I could hang my TV up. I was quoted from another company $600 and would have the outlet box exposed from the brick. I used Enoch and it done for $150. Plug looks great! I'll use Enoch anytime I need electric work done."

Small jobs welcome

"KC Electric Systems came through for me. I wanted an electrical outlet installed in the garage. Clark McNulty provided me with the options available and reminded me that it needed to be a GFCI outlet since it was a garage. He removed an outlet from our front entryway and used that line to drill through the wall, which was the perfect spot in the garage for the new outlet. All the process took less than an hour. Everything worked perfectly, and Clark cleaned up and left the place better than he found it. I also asked Clark to assist by installing some light switches that could be controlled by wifi. He was familiar with the switches I had purchased an installed different part of the house and all worked perfectly. I have an electrician for life! Thank you Clark and thank you KC Electric Systems!!!"

"Chad from Ready Electric did an excellent job installing our EV charger. He was professional, knowledgeable, and neat, and his communication was clear and concise throughout the process. The installation looks great, worked perfectly on the first try, and was completed on time and at a fair price. I highly recommend Chad to anyone looking to add an EV charger or upgrade their home electrical system."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Argyle, TX

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
