"Contacted Alan and we texted about what I wanted. He was able to estimate the size and provide me with wood and stain choices as well as price. He came out a day later and his crew installed the fence. There was a mix up on some panels but he sent the crew back the next day and switched out the panels that were not the right color. Iâ m am so pleased with my new fence and would highly recommend this company. Excellent service and value!!"

"Chase from Blacksmith responded quickly to our quote request and he met with us to determine our fencing needs. We had just installed new retaining walls. His quote was online with other bidders. Chase was very knowledgeable and he made recommendations which we adopted. They were about 5 weeks out based on their scheduling which was fine with us. Chase k kept us informed on the starting date and throughout the project. Crew was hard working and courteous and cleaned up property when finished. I would definitely use them again!!"

"I initially had someone come out to inspect the damage to my fence - they communicated mostly via text which was convenient for me. When the insurance company asked for a detailed quote, it was radio silence - as of today [12/18/19], I still don't have the quote. I was told that someone would contact me - then, it didn't happen. I checked in again - still, no quote. Upon my final contact - I asked when I could expect it or that I would move on - Jess replied that someone would get back to me by the afternoon [mind you the people she said would get back to me were cc'd on the email]. Still, no quote. I kindly replied that the response never came & that I was moving on. They quoted me 13k for 120ft fence repair and concrete wall repair - so, I imagine my potential business was small potatoes to them. The customer service was lacking in this particular instant - the guy who came out to give the quote was kind and, friendly. So was Jess - it is the complete lack of follow-through on what was requested numerous times that is the problem. I thought about that when I sent the email. The lack of communication & follow through would likely be problematic going forward if the were indeed selected for the job. I hope others don't have the same problem & given their reviews it's clear they are capable of providing the services - I can only speak to my experience."

"The owner, Colton reached out to me immediately and made arrangements to quote the job. This was a small repair job primarily affecting 2 fence panels. While most fence companies (a company I had worked with for 15 years said they would do it but backed out after quoting on the work) have decided to avoid small jobs, Colton was willing to come out and give a quote. After seeing the work, Colton was willing to take on the job and said he'd work me into his schedule over the next week. Within a week Colton arranged to do the work and then came out and completed the work. The work was high quality and satisfied all our needs for this repair. He was great keeping us informed by phone or text, so we didn't have to worry about being forgotten. As opposed to other fence companies, he was willing to quote on the work requested. Other companies wanted to increase the cost (to us) by replacing more fencing that currently did not need to be replaced. I believe Colton realizes that a small job can lead to a large job in the future, I know we certainly will call him when more of our fence needs to be replaced. I highly recommend Colton and Smith Fencing as they do quality work, take the customer needs into consideration and are responsive."

"I watched him work and observed that he had learned through experience to be very efficient in repairing both of my fences in a very reasonable time. He had a warm personality throughout his time at my house. He explained how he was going to do the repair wock. Overall, it was a very pleasant and knowledge sharing experience. If I had a bone to pick, it was his welding was a little sloppy. That comes from perspective of being a dentist for thirty years. Doing neat work was my way. We will have to see with time if that makes any real difference. I am pleased that I met Rick today."
