"I called yesterday to inquire about moving interior furniture and they were able to get me into the schedule today. The 'movers' were efficient, careful and friendly. The customer service via text was informative regarding pricing & communication. Very pleased with the entire process and appreciate the help."

Small jobs welcome

"Wonderful team working together for me with a move locally. They were very organized and packed everything fast. Never took a break and worked very hard for 3 hours straight. I would highly recommend hiring them for any move you may have. Local or long distance. I cannot say thank-you too many times. I will say it once more to you two, THANK-YOU!!! Greg "

"They were taking their sweet time moving my stuff and I?m on an hourly rate. I only got a couple of things moved for 400 and something dollars. Then they wanted to make two different trips without filling up the truck which the truck ain?t even no where near filled. Awful experience "

FAQs for in-state moving service projects in Asheville, NC

Laws differ from state to state, but the number one rule is that you cannot move a mobile home on your own. You have to hire a licensed mobile home moving company. While each state is different, you’ll also have to research HUD codes, permits, and other laws specific to the area to ensure your move follows all necessary regulations.

Yes, a permit is required to move a mobile home. You must secure permits in the state of origin and in every state through which the mobile home passes. When moving across state boundaries, obtain a permit for each state. Your moving company assists in acquiring all required permits, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations during the entire relocation process.

No, you cannot move a mobile home built before 1976. Mobile homes constructed before 1976 do not meet current safety standards and must not be relocated. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development enforces strict guidelines that prevent moving older models. Verify the build year and comply with all HUD regulations to ensure safety and legal compliance.
