"Went very well. Complete in 2 full days with a 2-person crew. They paid particular attention to aesthetics afterward which I appreciated. Most positive part was, they finished the day before a torrential rain storm which washed away much of the disturbed soil (where the drainage pipe was buried) as well as mulch and some river stones. I informed them and, without my realizing, they returned to my property, cleaned everything up and left quietly. When you do jobs like this, things can go wrong (including the uncontrollable, like inclement weather). What I appreciated was how responsive they were and how they ultimately made it clear that they wanted to do a good job for their customer. Lily, the project manager was great. The crew did a good job. The price was at par with other places but I'll take that + great communication and responsiveness any day. I've already referred them to 3 others in my neighborhood and I will definitely use again."

"Abel and his team are highly responsible, knowledgeable of their craft and perfectionists. Abel took out concrete in my backyard and installed eco-friendly permeable pavers that look great and absorb water. He also installed lattice in my deck, painted the whole deck and fixed the upper portion of my fence. I'll be doing additional work with him and his team. Very happy with the results and the quality of the work done."

"I met with Dave (project manager) and we discussed extent of work needed to restore my stone patio after many years of neglect. A key feature of the repair plan was to install a border around the stone patio. Dave also recommended that we pull up most of the lower patio and establish a good base for the stones, and repoint the upper patio where mortar joints were degraded. I decided to go with Daves recommendations and Lopez ( crew supervisor) and his crew did a great job restoring the patio. I am looking forward to pressure washing the stone to bring out the color after the mortar has fully cured. I could not be more pleased with the results!"

"On my shared driveway I noticed the concrete culvert was beginning to erode and shift. The crew came when scheduled to repair the culvert. The drainage area needed to be reshaped and have stone added to help with erosion issues. A cement footing was created to help hold up the concrete tubes and than concrete was packed in around the tubes help hold them in place. The job took several days to complete. I am very satisfied with the overall work. There was a lot of work put in to make the finished job look good and it does look good. I am giving a B for quality because the trucks they parked on my yard left large ruts in my yard. I watched the workers kick leaves over the ruts to hide them. When I complained they sent some one back to fix the ruts. That some one came back and with his foot kicked the top of ruts off, jumped back in the truck and left. I still have ruts that I will fix with my shovel and rake in spring. Such a shame. I will defiantly use them again in the future."

"I have never done a project like the patio they did and I could not be happier with the process, and the work Mike and his team did. He helped my wife and I scope out the project and listened to what we wanted and how we wanted to use the space. His suggestions were thoughtful and the end product turned out just as we had envisioned. There was no pressure during the process and he took all the time we needed to answer questions. His crew worked incredibly hard every day they were here, and you could tell they took pride in their work, focused on little details I couldn’t even envision, and had fun while doing it. "We hired Deck & Shed Pros for a diverse set of projects: a custom-built shed, replacement of our window wells, and some repairs to our stone patio. And we couldn’t be happier with how all of them turned out! During the contract phase, Jim, Jen and Victor were incredibly patient in answering all our questions. They were also very flexible on any design issues, ensuring that the projects could be done exactly how we wanted them. For example, they were able to use the same brand and color of vinyl siding on the shed that we recently had installed on our addition (so now they match perfectly), and they adjusted their plans for the window wells to accommodate our chosen style of wells/covers and the necessary depth for digging them out. When Victor and his crew came to install the window wells and make some patio repairs, the work was done beautifully and efficiently. The crew worked really hard, and they cleaned up the yard afterward so there was no debris left behind. One basement window pane got cracked as they were removing the old brick-and-concrete window wells, and they did a wonderful job of replacing the whole window with plexiglass (which was a painstaking task given the age of the window and how it was installed). People don’t usually think of window wells as beautiful, but the new ones that they installed for us (galvanized steel with polycarbonate covers) have totally transformed and modernized that part of the house. Victor and his team were so friendly and easy to work with. They also poured the concrete pad for our shed, making sure it was smooth and level—and in the exact location that we wanted. Victor even spread grass seed and straw over any disturbed areas. When the shed was ready for installation, the manufacturer’s crew came out to build it on-site. They were super professional, and the whole thing was done in about 6 hours. It’s made of high-quality materials and it’s gorgeous to look at—really complements the style of our home. A couple items had been missing from the shed kit, so someone came right out a few days later to make the necessary fixes. When we saw that it needed a single step under the side door, Jim had someone here within about a week to build one from scratch. Everyone was very prompt and responsive to any issues that came up. Through all of it, the communication with Jen and Jim was outstanding—they were always reachable by phone or email, and Jim would send out email updates every Friday, to keep us apprised of any developments or changes to the timeframe. I highly recommend Deck & Shed Pros for sheds, decks, or any other outside contracting work. (If you’re not sure whether it’s something they do, just ask! We didn’t know what kind of company to hire for the window wells, but they got it done with no problem.) We are thrilled with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again for other jobs in the future."

"Dave of HL Design was very professional and a true EXPERT in his field. His quote was the best in terms of cost out of 7 quotes that I received. He quoted and used Nicolock oceanic blue PREMIUM pavers, cobble stone edges, full-nose raven coping, 2-8ft sitting stone wall with 4 LED lights and a transformer. He installed a River Stones in the existing planting bed. The quality of work was great and the patio turned out beautifully! His workers cleaned after themselves each time. I absolutely love my patio and the flower bed. Dave and his crew did a GREAT job. I highly recommend them!!!"
