"We just had our first lawn treatment with Rutland Turf. The technician, Matthew, was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He explained in detail what treatments he was going to put on the lawn. Matthew did a very thorough job making sure he treated all areas of our lawn. Rutland Turf has some very good equipment for their techs to use, and Matt was adept at using the ride-on lawn spreader/sprayer. We're very pleased with his work today! We have a small landscaping project that we'll be contacting Rutland about. After seeing the quality of their work today, we won't hesitate to have them give us a price for another project."

"Instead of weeding an area where grass had grown up through some groundcover -- what I had hired them to get under control --, the provider weedwacked the tops of the grass. It looked better but I have to do the *actual* weeding myself. Obviously didn't solve the problem of removing the grass. <br /> Also, I asked the provider to relocate a hydrangea from one side of the yard to the other. The hydrangea -- which had been very hearty -- didn't survive the transplant -- it turned black and died. Now I have to remove it and replace it. <br /> That said, the provider was punctual, courteous, and helped tame my yard from a visual perspective. I was glad I got the help; I just wish it had been the right kind of help and that I didn't have to buy a new hydrangea. <br />"

"We used this company a few years ago and had a good experience. This year they came out and gave us a quote for a lawn program. We paid in advance for the aeration/overseeding and all the fall lawn treatments and then never heard back from the company. After a few weeks we called the business line and the owner/manager's cell phone and he never called us back. We called both more than once and even told the receptionist that we were going to have to cancel the service and ask for a refund and he did not call us back. Finally we cancelled the service and asked for a refund. Now it's probably too late to hire someone else. Very disappointing."

"I've actually been using SeaScape for several  years. I live in a difficult area with many trees. A good lawn has always been a challengle. Other lawn care providers were only marginally better than what I could accomplish. The professionals at SeaScape however understand the soil and ambient conditions and their treatments are quite effective. I find their advice quite helpful and as partners we've achieved a nice looking lawn. I would certainly recommend them to anyone as a long term provider. <br />"

"Their lawn mowing was fine. They doubled our charge for our spring cleanup because we didn't do a fall cleanup. They do warn you they will do so ahead of time, however, we felt it didn't take them twice as long to do the cleanup. Also, they didn't completely follow our instructions and never really completed the cleanup, leaving weeds where they should not be. They seemed to have difficulty differentiating between weeds and real plants sometimes. After using them for a couple years, we grew tired of having to call them back to fix what they were doing and overpaying. We also would speak with them and ask them to do things and then they would later claim we never asked them to do so or they would misinterpret instructions. Their shrub trimming was just ok. When we hired a new service we saw a difference in the shrub trimming skill. The new service we hired after Harris and Co was also cheaper and more punctual. Our experience with Harris and Co was so so. When we asked them whether they could come only in the afternoon for certain services, we were told they can't accommodate schedules. They are probably fine for lawn mowing."

"We had a great experience with Wesley! They were busy (as expected) but we got on the list and were very happy that they were able to get to us and take care of the poison ivy that was encroaching into our backyard. I especially appreciated going on the walkthrough where we identified what was and wasn't poison ivy and created a map of what areas were going to be treated. Wesley is super friendly and knowledgeable. We especially appreciated that he is also a math teacher! There is a guarantee, so we will be covered if we see poison ivy crop up in the spring. We also received some complimentary spraying of some non poisonous invasive non-desirable plants, which is very much appreciated!"
