"From the first time Mike came out to give me a price, I was impressed with his willingness to do a good job and to please me as the client.  Since we were not happy with the old edging, Mike really wanted to understand what we wanted the final product to be.  In addition, Mike has great enthusiasm for what he is doing, and a willingness to learn and try different things.  <br /> Each time Mike has been out, he has been on time with everything he needed to get to work.  He likes to start early, which indicates a strong work ethic.  <br /> In addition, Mike goes the extra mile and doesn't mind spending some time to make things better.  As an example, he spent the time to clean out rhizomes growing outside the new edging so that unwanted plants would not be sprouting.  He encouraged me to get a soil test done before he does the new plantings.  Encouraging a soil test indicates to me that Mike wants to do things correctly and wants to know what additional soil additives we may need to help the plants to thrive. <br /> The work went very well and Mike left the work area neat and tidy.  The edging lines look so nice that next month Mike is going to come back with more groundcover plants and fill in the sparse areas. <br /> We will definitely continue to use Perennial Lawn and Landscape for projects. <br />"

"Lawn was not scalped...it was cut to their comfort level, not mine. I called same day of service and next day with that major complaint. Was told I would get call back both days and didn't get a call until the check I stopped payment on, did not go through four days later. Lots of communication issues within company. However, the problem was addressed immediately. Unfortunate to have to do what I did to get attention, but paid a lot to not get what I wanted from the get go. Other issues with job weren't worth the hassle ( one rotten wood pile not removed and covered with pine straw, rose bushes cut that were not to be cut, some bushes were cut too low and may lose becuase they are slow growers and behind fast growing bushes that were cut at same level.) To average person, my yard looks good. But to me, it could have been a lot better."
