"We had a few contractors over to give us estimates. It was summer and kind of busy season so they all took a week or more to get back to us. I think EHS were among the fastest, which we appreciated and the least expensive, which we really appreciated. I mean we got one estimate to reface our existing cabinets - 1500. For 2600 or so EHS said they could replace our cabinets with new ones, build a little wall to block the view of our washer / dryer (in our kitchen), and remove some soffits that were wasting space and cramping our kitchen. <br /> So we hired them to do that and more. For expanding the entrance way, one contractor wanted 3k. For the same price, EHS expanded the entrance way, and tiled our shower, and put in new counters and sink, and did some touch-up painting, and installed a couple of ceiling fans, and installed new locks. <br /> Good quality, good price. Jeff and Wes and the subcontractors I met were always polite and responded to calls or messages in a reasonable amount of time. I would use EHS again. <br />"

"Hilton Auto Transport operates like all the other companies. They are brokers that find truckers to move customer’s cars. The trucks are not their employees. The way this industry works is your broker posts the job on an online bulletin board for drivers to see. They take the job if it fits their schedule and meets their financial needs for the trip. The broker is paid their commission and the rest is paid to the trucker directly. Usually bank check or cash upon delivery. We wanted to move a car from the San Francisco area to WV. We had no takers for a week. This was not the fault of Hilton. Truckers seem to be afraid of WV. We changed the destination to a spot in VA that was only 20 minutes away and got an interested trucker the same day. In this industry, you are at the mercy of where drivers are headed. They try to make a load that will be delivered in a cluster for efficiency. You work directly with Nichole and she was good on the phone and tried very hard to find us a truck that would go to WV. We were not in a hurry and we had back and forth emails for a while before we signed up. Once we committed, she was great. Very up front about our particular situation and responded to phone calls. Their commission was reasonable, especially compared to many of the other brokers. The trucker we got turned out to be friendly and very efficient. The entire process was easy once we changed the destination to VA. All in all, we would use Hilton Auto Transport again."

"Tracy and Jamie were great. They repaired a lot of cedar siding rot as well as replacing supporting 2x4s where they were rotten. The areas they worked on were quite large. They also did extra things that I didn't even ask for. I would definitely hire them again and probably will."

"I contracted with G&S on April 28, 2017. The cost was $6000 and I was asked to pay 1/2 down so that materials could be ordered. I was promised a 2-3 week completion schedule. My family was to move into the property by June 1, and we have a dog. etc., so it was very important for to get this completed on time. The job included both black vinyl chain link and black aluminum fencing. After three weeks I followed up and was told it would be finished within a couple of days. For the next few days they did not show and did not call, and did not return my calls or emails Finally near the end of May they showed installed the chain link fence and left. The rest of the property where the aluminum fencing was to be installed was not done. After some angry calls from me tey admitted they did not have the aluminum on hand I was led to believe they had, and came out and installed temporary chain link where the aluminum was to be installed. Since my property was enclosed I was patient, so 3 weeks I called and inquired as to the status to complete the job. Once again, I was told that "tomorrow or the next day" I would be finished. Again, no show - no call for several days. I sent a text to the owner a few days later. He answered not with "I apologize" or anything else other than an audio file that was sent to me. It was a trucker in Atlanta saying he was stuck in traffic. Finally got the aluminum fence installed 3 1/2 months later however they cut through my irrigation line and said nothing. Discovered this a couple months later after I went to test the system."

"I contracted with Miller's to have several pine and oak trees (total 10) removed and several other trees pruned to raise the canopy over my drive. Clay Culpepper was very timely in contacting me after my initial request for an estimate (unlike many others). He listened closely to what I was looking to achieve and was very willing to working within my budget to ensure I was able to accomplish my goals - even if it required splitting the project into multiple visits. As we are in hurricane season, the area tree services, including Miller's, were quite busy. Clay informed me that it would likely be 6-7 weeks before they could address my project. Fortunately, a cancellation allowed Miller's to fit us in within two weeks of the estimate, which was very helpful since two other projects (roof and driveway replacements) both hinged on the removal of the trees. Miller's showed up precisely on schedule and worked continuously to complete the job. The entire team worked together like a well-oiled machine and with the utmost caution for my property and themselves. The team was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring that I was completely satisfied with each phase of the project. Once complete, with exception of a few mounds of wood chippings from the stump grinding and the much better looking yard, there was no evidence that anyone had been onsite, let alone with large heavy equipment. I would gladly recommend Miller's to anyone in need of tree removal or pruning. An excellent team and excellent price!"
