"1- The truck the workers came in was large enough to move 5 BR house, when I told them I had less than a 1 BR apt. worth of items. I was stunned by the size and the amount of gas I would be charged. 2- The route they took was "round red Robin's barn" and increased the mileage significantly. It left me feeling like the truck size and directions were intentionally skewed to up the cost much higher that the original estimate, which was based on an hourly rate. I can't imagine any GPS system prompting them to travel the way they did. 3- A Sony portable CD player was missing from my things. When I called the workers about it, they never responded. Finally got a hold of the owner who said both guys didn't remember seeing a CD player. After a thorough search, I found several broken pieces that identified what was left of it. I took pictures and sent to the owner as proof that it was on the truck. I was refunded the $100.00 tip that I generously gave to the movers, but no explanation was ever offered as to what actually happened to my CD player. If I hadn't found those broken pieces, I dont believe I would have received anything. This was the second time I'd used Monster Movers. The first time was a local move and went without a hitch. I tipped them well and wrote a glowing review. This second move was such a disappointment. I felt taken advantage of with the overcharges, and can't believe they lied about the CD player. I have one final move to make. It will not be with Monster Movers."

"Today the movers were scheduled to arrive at around 11am. We got a call in the morning that one of their guys had been in an accident and would be late. No problem we said that was fine. They got here at 1 and then said that we did not provide them a walkway to move stuff so they couldn't do it. We moved ourselves everything in the open area from the stairs to the door into the driveway with no help so that they would have "access". MJ then told us that we had too much stuff - not true because we moved it all before with the same size truck and we told them that anything that wouldn't fit we would move ourselves. End of story they said they were not going to move us. I begged them to take just our big furniture. They said no. Because we have to be out of our apartment that put us in an EXTREMELY BAD spot. my opinion is that Samantha was extremely rude, disrepectful, not understanding and CLEARLY had no customer service. They had moved us before and we had not had any major issues. They were not great but they were ok. The price was good and that was why we decided to go with them again. I did get upset with them... and understandably so!!! I did tell her I will be in touch with my attorney... which I will. You get what you pay for. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! We think the reason they decided not to do the move was because they didn't want to work late. They kept telling me before we scheduled that they didn't want to work late. MJ moved our furniture before. He knows some of it is heavy rh furniture. We are completely floored that a company would sign a contract to perform a service such as this and then BAIL! Unethical, unprofessional. Use at your own peril. I can't in my opinion say enough bad things about them. Can you imagine as a customer what I am going through now trying to figure out how I am going to move this furniture myself today to my new residence? Good luck with the Karma you just created for yourselves 3 guys moving. in my opinion you are the worst."
