"Cullen and his crew did a fantastic job overall. We ended up learning a lot about landscaping along the way. I will detail each phase of our experience in order: 1. Estimate: He was very prompt to respond and easy to reach, by email and phone/text. Good coordination, came when we agreed on and gave his honest opinion. We were initially unsure about his estimate/recommendations due to how many modifications he suggested which we didn't initially think of, but he gave great rationale for all of his recs and we agreed on a solution that we felt incorporated what we wanted and improved on them as well. I would say estimated price was on the higher end among the estimates we got, but we feel that it was well worth it. 2. Scheduling: was able to start our job very soon after signing, within 2-3 weeks, despite the fact that he had other work going on and we stated that we were flexible with our timing. Again communication was very good here. Contract was clear and payment format was clear. 3. Job/modifications: whole job was completed in the time frame he stated. When we had questions in the middle, he was easy to reach and answered them the same day we emailed. His crew cleaned the area daily so that our yard/driveway was usable and not a mess for the duration of the job. 4. Cleanup/job end: Final cleanup was very thorough, everything that wasn't part of the job was left the way it was before the job. Care was taken to repair all parts of the lawn impacted by the job. Cullen came at our request to do a final walkthrough of what was done and what was found, and offered additional advice about some of the newfound features of our yard (sinking concrete patio, improperly winterized irrigation lines, unsual splicing of irrigation lines). Answered all of our questions. We never felt pressured to do anything we didn't want or were unsure of. Very knowledgeable about landscaping."

"The crew removed the plantings and brick borders from the front and both sides of our house. This included two large bush stumps as well as a 50 year old rhododendren bush that was too close to the house. They graded all of the old and new topsoil away from the house, laid down landscape fabric, planted new colorful bushes, and mulched everything with layers of black mulch. They reused many of the existing bricks for a border along the walkway and the one side of the house. They hauled away all of the debris and old bricks that were not used."

I get compliments on my patio/fire pit area, from all my neighbors. It is truly the look I was going for. "These guys are amazing!! The crew that came to do the work at my house were punctual, knowledgeable and efficient. I hired Neel Outdoor Works to install a brick wall and platform for a wood burner and my experience couldn’t have been better. The timelines for material drop off and execution were not only upheld, but were also communicated clearly which has been hard to find dealing with contractors. When the crew arrived to do the work they were able to explain everything that was happening, how long it would take, and precautions to take while the components cured. They finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up so well that it didn’t look like anyone had been there. These guys are absolute professionals in all aspects and I will recommend them to anyone that needs work done."

"Those guys were excellent, the mulch was good quality and they did a nice job. I’m real up front, I’ve had some guys that were great, some weren’t. Both those contractors were good. They came, it wasn’t just a one man show, they got it spread well, it was good quality. They were on time, they cleaned up, so they get “A’s” across the board, without question. Both of those contractors I intend to use again. They were absolutely great. I intend to look for both of those guys again. What stood out to be was that they showed up, got right to it. I was there, so I kind of let them know where I wanted it placed. They did a god job. I was a little concerned what the mulch would look like, the mulch was high quality, it was great."
