"I called to have my 50s home electrical updated, DTS was booked almost a month out & required a $200 deposit. The owner said as long as I let him know 72 hours ahead, I could cancel no charge. I ended up being able to find someone to come out earlier and called Sat morning to cancel for a Tues appt. He said the 72 hrs was business days only, wkend didn't count. So I kept the appt since I'm paying anyway. Tues comes around & he calls me early to see if I'm home, which I'm still at work. I can't fit all the details here, but basically it sounds like he double booked me and another lady, or tightly booked. He said he could move her, but then I'd have to cover (pay) her 3-4 hrs job? Or he could do hers then come back to me (I have small children & it would run into dinner/ bath time). It also was apparent my job wasn't as important to him (less money), he made that pretty clear. He kept saying he's a small business and had to fill his day. To him, I was just another number. I canceled."

"Josh came out to to give me an estimate for some outdoor electrical work today and was prompt and professional. He listened to what I was looking for and gave me ideas to enhance the plan. While here he helped me with a broken lamp and even came back after he left when I realized had a problem with a circuit breaker that tripped and I could not get the appliances back on. "I was very happy with the solution Alden came up with. I had spoken to another landscaping company and an engineer, and their solutions were not feasible. Alden's solution was both reasonable to carry out and effective. His solution had three parts: adding soil to change the grade so that water would run away from the house, adding an exterior drain pipe to catch the water and deposit it downhill from my house, and removing a brick flowerbed that was trapping the water so that it would not flow away from my house. The drain pipe was installed at ground level and just empties out onto the hill beneath my house. This was so simple I am surprised this did not occur either to me or anyone else. (I did not mind losing the flowerbed since I am not a gardener and honestly it just added another chore I was glad to be rid of.) Alden also noticed that my outdoor AC unit was about to topple over and added soil to level out the ground beneath the pad on which the AC rested. In general, I found Alden to be experienced in rain and groundwater management, creative in coming up with solutions, professional, and easygoing. His workers were nice and worked efficiently. And I am convinced that this is the best way for most homeowners to effectively waterproof their basement -- using soil grading and ground-level drain pipes to keep rainwater running along the ground away from the house; I think this is more effective and less intrusive than interior water proofing, and that the common method you see of digging to the foot of the foundation and installing the drain pipe there, then backfilling with gravel is unnecessary unless the water problem is that it is actually coming up from below ground rather than that it is running along the ground toward the house."

"Our pebble drive way was completely replaced with pavers and excellent draining system. The walk way up to the house was newly installed with landscaping on either sides. More landscaping and the side and the back yard were also renovated. These areas now have a beautiful garden appearance. Many neighbors have stopped and complemented on the excellent work done by the company. And now even in the winter time our property is truly magnificent. The workers at every stage of the process were hard working and conscientious and extremely knowledgeable about plants, grasses, bushes, trees, and flowers. Now we are looking forward to seeing the flowers coming up in the spring."
