"I had called Tom's Construction along with two other contractors to do work at my house. Tom was the only on to respond. I remember calling him and getting his voice mail. I left a message to call me back and in about 10 min. he did. We met that afternoon.
He was at my house on time as promised, reviewed the project with me and gave me a quote. He must have spent about an hour with me, no rush. I signed a contract that day. I knew I was on to something good.
Demolition began on Monday March 16 th. on Sunday Tom called me to say that he would be there the next day. Monday morning Tom called and said they would arrive around 9:00, they pulled up at 9:00, One thing about Tom is that he is a a great communicator and always on time. All concrete removal went fine, with complete clean up each day before the crew left. All the concrete pours went like clock work and workmanship was outstanding. Tom always checked with me when he thought something should be altered.
When the work was complete Tom put an acrylic sealer on all the new concrete. He even power washed a small old section at the end of the drive and sealed that too. Towards the end of the project people that were walking by my house would stop and compliment on how great everything looked and wanted to know who did the work. My neighbor wanted Tom to come down and look at her driveway. Even the UPS man stopped to get Tom's business card. What does that tell you? His work sells its self! "Everything went very well. Heidi was incredibly responsive from the first call and throughout the process. Everyone, from the owner to every workman, was courteous and very professional. We did have weather issues (heat and storms) that understandably delayed the initial start date. When the new start date conflicted with our vacation, there was no hassle about our postponing the start date until we returned. This was a fairly big job and took the crew about a week to complete. Each day they started exactly when they told me they would be there and each evening, they made sure that everything was picked up and stowed neatly. When the job was done, the cleanup was thorough. I have yet to find a nail or other debris anywhere! The roof, soffit repairs, and new gutters look great. I highly recommend A&D and would definitely use them again without hesitation."

"Short version: Sam is awesome to say the VERY least. He knows what he is doing, does not try to rip you off with service, and minimums, and stands behind his work. I will definitely be using him going forward if I ever need my roof repaired. Long version: Back in April 2022, I realized I had a major roof leak that would leave a massive puddle inside of my garage after heavy rain. I inquired on Angi.com, the morning I realized it was the roof leaking. I had a roofing company just pop up to inspect the damage, and without even pulling his ladder to actually inspect the roof, proceeded to tell me what the issue was and that they could get it fixed ASAP, but they have a minimum fee of $725. As I was talking to the roofer from the other company, I received a text from Sam. Shortly after the roofer left, I responded to Sam and he said that he would be in my area the following morning and could stop by. Sam came out the next day, actually climbed up on the roof, did a thorough inspection, and told me exactly what the problem(s) was. He quoted me a price significantly lower than the other company and said he could come out a few days later (because it was still snowing... in April). He sealed the windows and flashing, then asked me to let him know if the roof leaked at all after. A day or so later we had heavy rains and very strong winds in my area (I live on a hill) so the wind had lifted the shingles on the corner of the roof which caused water to enter the garage. I contacted Sam, and he came out the same day, and repaired/sealed the roof, and again instructed me to reach out if the roof leaked at all. It is July 15, 2022 and we have had quite a few heavy rains/strong winds since April 2022 (it is actually raining right now), and the roof has not leaked at all. Thank you again Sam, I sincerely appreciate it!!!"
