"My husband and I thought long and hard over taking to leap in doing some fun landscaping for our backyard. This included removing some large tres, building a raise stone patio, installing a louvred gazebo over a new hot tub and fencing. All to blend with an existing very large backyard area. For over a year now we have enjoyed our remodeled backyard, and while enjoying our hot tub (which is nearly every day) in the evening with our yard lights focusing on the details of their work, my husband and I comment every time on what a fantsastic job Alderwood did for us. "A previous contractor that blew out my sprinklers in the fall, pointed out the need to have a back flow device. He followed through in the spring but made a offer to do the work that seemed very high. I got 4 Seasons off the Angie's List site and their estimate was a couple of hundred dollars less so I went with them. They did this work this Friday and turned on and checked the sprinklers. I was struck that they didn't try to sell me anything else and just did a compentent job at what I hired them to do. I really don't know anything about this area so it is impossible for me to accurately judge if this was good quality or not. What I did take from this experience that this was a area where my general lack of knowledge is often exploited by other companies and that I trusted 4 Seasons more than other companies I have tried."

"The service was excellent. The workers were very prompt and courteous. I like that they call ahead of time to let me know they are coming. The friendliness of the workers is what stood out most to me. I like that they use the spray chemicals rather than the fertilizer granules because the spray has better coverage and does not harm the sidewalk or driveway."

"On Thanksgiving night, we had issues with the kitchen lights coming on/then turning off on their own, with the smell of burnt plastic and hot-to-the-touch dimmer switch plate. The burning smell concerned me greatly, and Tim with Vital Power was the only electrician who answered my calls the Friday after Thanksgiving and came out for emergency service. Sure enough, a wire had burnt out on the dimmer connection. Tim stopped by and made the repair within a couple of hours of my initial phone call and was very kind and professional--even though he was in pain from a back injury. In contrast, another electrician who had been recommended to me never returned my call (not even the Monday after the holiday weekend.) We appreciate reliable service and will be using Vital Power and Communications again for additional electrical work around the house."

". First a service man came by late in the day to inspect from the ground. He told me the expected life that he felt my roof still had and then would write up a couple of quotes in case of two different variables upon further inspection once up there. <br /> I  never saw the quotes, but a week later got a voice mail  which I didn't listen to until after, saying that they would be up at my house to calk in about 15 minutes.  They did exactly that.   I'm not sure about quality, since I couldn't go up there to personally  inspect, but the young man who actually did the work seemed very courteous and got right to work calking and inspecting. <br /> <br />"
