Cons: Not on time after stressing the importance due to another company coming the same day. I had to call the morning of to verify someone was still coming. Being on time is very important to me, if not for that, I would have given 5 stars."

"I just moved into my apartment and my family members quickly started getting sick. So I called All Star duct cleaning and they came and looked in my vents and took a sample. A couple of days later they called me to inform me that I had black mold in my vents and came to remediate it quickly. They spoke to me about everything that was about to occur which put me at ease. Once the work was done they came back out to take another sample to send off and mold was gone. Great job All-Star I will be referring you"

"Excellent cleaning by Anthony Garcia. Mr Garcia took time and care in thoroughly cleaning the chair. Loveseat, and carpet. Some areas of the carpet were especially worn and soiled, such as a path from family room to kitchen. After cleaning, this area looked just like the rest of the clean carpet-- no soiled or dark area. I think the key to Mr Garci's work is " care." He took a great deal of care cleaning the chairs and the carpet. I also appreciated Mr. Garcia's willingness to discuss and explain various parts of the cleaning process. "Our chimney and fireplace had not been used since at least 2018, so we needed someone to check it out prior to using it. They both cleaned the chimney and inspected it for any issues. The issues they did find they brought photos of and explained to us. They were polite and kind and respectful of keeping our home clean while working. We would recommend them to anyone else who needs their chimney worked on or cleaned."

"We hired Sixpenny because we needed an urgent cleaning done on our newly purchased house after burning one fire and they said they could be at our house within 2 days, but only provided a 4 hour time window (12pm-4pm), requiring me to take the day off of work and stay home. The day comes with gusty winds which slowed down all of their appointments that day. This would not have been a major problem in itself if the company communicated that to me proactively, but by 3pm I called to confirm we were still on the list to be cleaned. By 4pm I called and was informed that the cleaner was on his way, at 4:30 I called again was told he was still on his way but no known estimated arrival time. Finally arrived shortly after 5pm, rushed through the cleaning as quick as he could, wasn't really able to answer any questions about how to reduce the fireplace smell in the house, from the concrete slab or from the hardwood floors and left in less than an hour. I understand he had a long day and was slowed by the weather, but the lack of proactive communication to keep us in the loop, as well as the limited knowledge either possessed or shared, is why I rated this company lower."
