"I think there’s a reason that you don’t see any negative reviews regarding HRTI. The contract from Greg Cotton (the owner) stated that you agree not to take any action that would harm HRTI’s reputation or lead to unfavorable publicity. I suspect customers are not likely to provide honest feedback for fear of violating the contract and being sued. Although in Colorado, I don’t think a non-disparagement clause is enforceable. Regardless, I lined out that clause in our contract and am free to provide honest feedback. I had a very bad experience. It seemed like every week his sub-contractors wanted to follow the plan or do what we agreed to in the initial walkthrough, but Greg said no. That then caused me to have to show him proof of these scope details that we agreed to. That was exhausting and required me to maintain detailed records of every conversation. I finally got to the point that I had to have every exchange in email to have a record. In person he agreed to things but then later stated that he didn’t. Not wanting to record in-person visits, my wife and I asked him not to show up in person in the last month of construction. Up to that point he only came onsite once over 6 months, so there wasn’t much difference there. My gut told me that the lack of detail in the agreement was a bad idea and would lead to trouble and it did. Hope this helps."

"Easily the best price after comparing the project across multiple national/local contractors. Dealt directly with the owner throughout the entire process, from quote to walk through. Installation crew was courteous, timely, and did a great job. I have recommended them to some family members as a result of their price/quality of work."

"would NOT recommend! Before I bought my house the seller hired this company to put up carbon fiber strips.. They put carbon fiber straps into our crawl space.. stood by this work and claimed there was nothing wrong with this work.. however we had many foundation contractors come out because it did not seem right and we were told a wall anchor was going to be put it and found these straps instead. and all said the same thing. What is this it looks like a 5 year old did it.. ram jack stood by this work and says it is doing its job and there is no need for an anchor at the bottom of the straps and it not being flushed against the wall and pulling up is a “ blemish not a failure” however once I reached out to the manufacturer of the carbon fiber strips I get an email stating it is “ dis heartining to see such a poor install and they will help me through this entire process.” Since the walls were not prepped properly or carbon fiber straps placed properly. as well as the co founder saying this job looks like a 5 year old did it as well. However they have refused to reach back out to the co founder of fortress who has tried to be in contact with them. Instead they email the seller of my house and CC me in stating they will only pay 1600 dollars of the job out of the $4800 that was paid.. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!!! *** anyone who knows about carbon fiber straps is they need to be anchored at the top and bottom however in our case they did not pour a footing to properly secure the carbon fiber straps with an anchor at the bottom***"
